Suffering Tribulations

Posted by Lynn on July 24, 2008

If what main-stream Christianity has been spreading lies concerning Daniel’s 7 year tribulation periods and it is a delusion then what about the bible saying we will suffer tribulations unlike ever seen before? When will we suffer tribulations and why?

Mat 13:21 Yet hath he not root in himself, but endureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.

We suffer tribulation for the sake of the word. Funny how people read into that that we will only suffer for 7 years. Followers of Messiah have been suffering for the word since His first coming and it will get worse before His second coming.

Kinda makes the whole idea of those claiming to be spared and raptured away seem very self-ish! If the apostles weren’t spared what makes YOU think you will be?

Seven years of Tribulation NOT FOUND IN BIBLE!

7 Years of Tribulation? Part 1&2
by Steve Wohlberg

A man who has committed a mistake and doesn’t correct it is committing another mistake. -Confucius (551-479 B.C.).

The concept of a seven-year Tribulation is the underlying foundation of the entire Left Behind scenario (and all other pro-rapture books and movies). The theory is: rapture first, then seven years of horror.

Book Two of the Left Behind novels declares, “The disappearances have ushered in the seven year period of Tribulation” (The Tribulation Force, inside cover). Book Three reveals, “…the seven-year Tribulation is nearing the end of its first quarter…” (Nicolae, inside cover). Book Six tells us, “It’s the midpoint of the seven-year Tribulation” (The Indwelling, inside cover). Book Eight begins with, “…the dawn of the second half of the seven-year Tribulation” (The Mark, inside cover). Book Eleven opens “six years into the Tribulation, two and one-half years into the Great Tribulation” (Armageddon, p. vii). Thus this New York Times, USA-Today, and Wall Street Journal bestselling series of end times, prophecy books, endorsed by well-respected church leaders worldwide, is built entirely around this seven-year framework.

Where does this “seven-year” concept come from anyway? It may shock you, but if you look for “seven years of tribulation” in any concordance, you won’t find it. The truth is, from Genesis to Revelation, there is no exact passage that specifically mentions a seven-year period of tribulation at all. Amazingly, the entire theory is really based on a rather speculative interpretation of two little words in one single verse. The text is Daniel 9:27; and the two words are, “one week.” Let me explain.

The Book of Daniel was written while the Jews were in Babylon—in exile because of their sins. Daniel 9:24-27 contains a prophecy from the angel Gabriel to encourage the Jewish people that they would be given a “second chance” to return to Jerusalem, rebuild their temple, and ultimately, receive their Messiah (Jesus Christ).

This highly controversial prophecy literally reads:

Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks [62 weeks]: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured out upon the desolate (Daniel 9:24-27 KJV).

Thus we have a prophecy about “seventy weeks.” Gabriel then subdivides the period into three smaller periods of seven weeks (verse 25), sixty-two weeks (verse 25), and one week (verse 27). 7+62+1=70.

Seventy weeks = 490 days. A day in prophecy represents a year (see Numbers 14:34 and Ezekiel 4:6). Thus 490 days are really 490 years. Without going into all the chronological details here (I will get more specific in a later chapter), the prophecy starts with a direct “commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem” (verse 25) after the Babylonian captivity and reaches down to the first coming of Jesus Christ. After 69 weeks (after 483 years), “shall Messiah be cut off” (verse 26). All Christian scholars apply this to the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. After our Lord’s agonizing death, “the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary” (verse 26). While there are differences of opinion as to who “the people of the prince” refers to, the majority of scholars nevertheless apply the destruction of “the city and the sanctuary” to the second destruction of Jerusalem and its rebuilt sanctuary by Roman armies under Prince Titus in 70 A.D.

So far, we have seen 69 weeks fulfilled. That leaves “one week” left, otherwise known as the famous “70th week of Daniel.

” Again, that highly controversial text literally says:

And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease… (Daniel 9:27 KJV).

Based on the day-year principle (which is valid), the “one week” remaining in this prophecy must refer to a period of seven years. Pro-rapture promoters claim this is the seven-year period of tribulation. Their idea is that while the first 69 weeks (or 483 years) did reach to the first coming of Jesus Christ, the prophetic clock has stopped because the Jewish people largely rejected Him. Then they slide the 70th week (the last seven years) all the way down to the end times, call it the tribulation, and say it applies to the Jewish people after we’re gone.

Rapture teachers interpret Daniel 9:27 as follows:

(1) “He shall confirm the covenant with many for one week.” “He” is the antichrist who will make a covenant (or peace treaty) with the Jews during the seven years of tribulation.

(2) “In the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease…” In the middle of the seven-year tribulation, the antichrist will break his covenant, turn against Israel, and stop their animal sacrifices.

(3) The phrase, “he shall cause the sacrifice…to cease” is viewed as irrefutable proof that a Jewish temple (which includes sacrifices) must be rebuilt on the Temple Mount inside Jerusalem.

Bestselling author Hal Lindsey in his The Late Great Planet Earth reflects this current view when he writes about “God’s last seven years of dealing with the Jewish people before the long awaited setting up of the kingdom of God (Daniel 9:27).” (The Late Great Planet Earth, p. 46) According to Mr. Lindsey, during those seven years “ ‘the Antichrist,’ breaks his covenant with the Jewish people and causes the Jewish temple worship, according to the Law of Moses, to cease (Daniel 9:27)…We must conclude that a third Temple will be rebuilt upon its ancient site in old Jerusalem.” (Ibid.)

Therefore, according to countless modern interpreters, Daniel 9:27 is applied to a future antichrist, a future peace treaty made with Israel, a future seven-year tribulation, and a future rebuilt Jewish temple inside Jerusalem. And all of this will supposedly start with the rapture.

Honestly, that’s a lot to interpret from that single verse, especially when Daniel 9:27 says absolutely nothing about any seven-year tribulation, antichrist, or rebuilt Jewish temple!

Could there be something wrong with this picture?

You’ll find out in the next chapter.

Seven Years of Tribulation? Part 2
by Steve Wohlberg

Prophecy-minded Christians all over Planet Earth often engage in a fierce debate about whether Jesus Christ will return for His Church before the seven years of tribulation (the “pre-trib” view), in the midst of the seven years (the “mid-trib” view), or at the end of the seven years (the “post-trib” view).

Yet by far the most explosive question few seem to be asking is: Is an end-time “seven-year period of tribulation” really taught in the Bible in the first place?

In 1945, after months of agonizing deliberation, U.S. President Harry Truman finally issued orders to drop two atomic bombs upon Japan in an attempt to end World War II. On August 6, the “Little Boy” fell on Hiroshima. Three days later, the “Fat Man” was released over Nagasaki. Approximately 130,000 people were instantly vaporized. Many heated discussions have occurred as to whether or not it was the right thing to drop those bombs. One thing’s for sure, in the minds of those who made that fearful decision, they believed it was for the ultimate good of America.

Dear friend, it is for the benefit of Christians everywhere that God’s bomb of truth should now be released over what I have come to call, “The 70th week of Daniel Delusion.

As we have seen, the entire 7-year theory is based on Daniel 9:27, which says:

He shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease… (Daniel 9:27 KJV ).

This may shock you, but historically, the vast majority of well-respected Bible scholars have not applied Daniel 9:27 to a seven-year period of tribulation at all. Neither have they interpreted the “he” as referring to a future antichrist (as many do today) . Instead, they applied it to Jesus Christ.

Notice what the world-famous Bible commentary written by Matthew Henry says about Daniel 9:27: “By offering himself a sacrifice once and for all he [Jesus] shall put an end to all the Levitical sacrifices.”(1) T hus Matthew Henry applied Daniel 9:27 to Christ, not antichrist. Another famous commentary written by British Methodist Adam Clarke says that during Daniel 9:27’s “term of seven years,” Jesus Himself would “confirm or ratify the new covenant with mankind.”(2) A nother dusty Bible commentary reveals: “He shall confirm the covenant—Christ. The confirmation of the covenant is assigned to Him.” (3)

Here’s one more statement from a book called, Christ and Antichrist, published in 1846 by the Presbyterian Board of Publication in Philadelphia. On page 2, under Recommendations, are endorsements from many Presbyterian, Methodist, and Baptist ministers, including an official representative of the Southern Baptist Convention.

(4) Commenting on the final week of Daniel 9:27, that ancient volume states:

…sometime during the remaining seven, he [the Messiah] was to die as a sacrifice for sin, and thus bring in “everlasting righteousness.” Here are allusions to events so palpable, that one would think, the people among whom they occurred, could not possibly have misapplied the prophecy.(5)

Okay, here we go. The following ten points provide logical and convincing evidence that Daniel’s famous 70th week has no application to any future seven-year tribulation at all. Rather, this great prophetic period was definitely fulfilled nearly two thousand years ago.

1. The entire prophecy of Daniel 9:24-27 covers a period of “seventy weeks,” or 490 years. Logic requires that “seventy weeks” refers to one consecutive block of time, in other words, to seventy straight sequential weeks. There is no example in Scripture (or anywhere else!) of a stated time period starting, stopping, and then starting again. All biblical references to time are consecutive: 40 days and 40 nights (see Genesis 7:4), 400 years in Egypt (see Genesis 15:13), 70 years of captivity (see Daniel 9:2), etc. In Daniel’s prophecy, the “seventy weeks” were to begin during the reign of Persia and continue to the time of the Messiah.
2. Logic also requires that the 70th week follow immediately after the 69th week.

If it doesn’t, then it cannot properly be called the 70th week!
3. It is illogical to insert a 2,000-year gap between the 69th and 70th week. No hint of a gap is found in the prophecy itself.

There is no gap between the first seven weeks and the following sixty-two weeks, so why insert one between the 69th and 70th week?

Note: If you told your child to be in bed in 70 minutes, you obviously would mean 70 consecutive minutes. What if five hours later your fully awake son said, “But dad, I know 69 minutes have passed, but the 70th minute hasn’t started yet!”? After receiving an appropriate punishment, he would be swiftly sent to bed.

4. Daniel 9:27 says nothing about a seven-year period of “tribulation,” a “rebuilt” Jewish temple, or any “antichrist.”

5. The stated focus of this prophecy is the Messiah, not the antichrist. After the Messiah is “cut off” (referring to Christ’s death), the text says, “And the people of the prince who is to come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary.” I n the past, this has been consistently applied to the destruction of Jerusalem and the second temple by Roman armies led by Prince Titus in A.D. 70.11

6. “He shall confirm the covenant.” Paul said “the covenant” was “confirmed before by God in Christ” (Galatians 3:17). Jesus Christ came “to confirm the promises made to the fathers” (Romans 15:8, emphasis added). In the King James Version, Daniel 9:27 doesn’t say “ a covenant” or peace treaty, but “ the covenant,” which applies to the New Covenant. Nowhere in the Bible does the antichrist make, confirm, or break a covenant with anyone. The word “covenant” is Messianic, and always applies to the Messiah, not the antichrist.

7. “He shall confirm the covenant with many. ” Jesus Christ said, “This is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many… ” (Matthew 26:28). Behold a perfect fit! Jesus was quoting Daniel 9:27 specifically.

8. “In the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease.” After exactly three and a half years of holy ministry, Jesus Christ died on the cross, “in the midst of the week [in the middle of the seven years].” At the exact moment of His death, “the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom…” (Matthew 27:51). This act of God signified that all animal sacrifices at that moment ceased to be of value.

Why? Because the Perfect Sacrifice had been offered!
9. “For the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate.” “The abomination of desolation” (see Matthew 24:15) is not a simple subject, yet we know that Jesus clearly applied this event to the time when His followers were to flee from Jerusalem before the destruction of the second temple in A.D. 70. In a parallel text to Matthew 24:15, Jesus told His disciples, “When you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies [Roman armies led by Prince Titus], then know that its desolation is near ” (Luke 21:20, emphasis added). The disciples did “see” those very events. Because of the “abominations” of the Pharisees, Jesus told them, “See! Your house is left to you desolate” (Matthew 23:38). Thus Gabriel’s statement in Daniel 9:27 about Jerusalem becoming “desolate” was perfectly fulfilled in A.D. 70.

10. Gabriel said that the 70-week prophecy specifically applied to the Jewish people (see Daniel 9:24). During the period of Christ’s public ministry of 3 1 / 2 years, the Master’s focus was largely upon “the lost sheep of the house of Israel” (Matthew 10:6). After His resurrection and then for another 3 1/2 years, His disciples preached mostly to Jews (see Acts 1-6). After that second 3 1/2 -year period, in 34 A.D., the bold Stephen was stoned by the Jewish Sanhedrin (see Acts 7). This infamous deed marked the then-ruling Jewish leaders’ final, official rejection of the gospel of our Savior. Then the gospel went to the Gentiles. In Acts 9, Saul became Paul, the “apostle to the Gentiles” (Romans 11:13). In Acts 10, God gave Peter a vision revealing it was now time to preach to the Gentiles (see Acts 10:1-28). Read also Acts 13:46. Thus approximately 3 1/2 years after the crucifixion— and at the end of the 70-week prophecy given f or the Jewish people—the gospel shifted to the Gentiles exactly as predicted in Bible prophecy.

The explosive evidence is overwhelming! Point by point the events of Daniel’s 70th week have been fulfilled in the past. These eight words found in Daniel 9:27: “confirm…covenant…many…midst…sacrifice…cease… abominations…desolate” all find perfect fulfillment in Jesus Christ and early Christian history.

In the words of that 1846 Presbyterian publication,

The seventy weeks of Daniel therefore, have certainly ended many centuries ago. We are not to look to the future for the fulfillment of these predictions. We must look to the past. And if to the past; where is there one who can have any adequate claims to being the subject of these prophecies, but Jesus? He, and he only can claim them; and to him they most certainly refer.(7)

…one would think, the people [the Jews] among whom [these events] occurred, could not possibly have misapplied the prophecy.(8)

But they did. In fact, one major reason why the Jewish nation as a whole failed to receive its Messiah was because its scholars misinterpreted Daniel 9:27. They failed to see Jesus Christ as the predicted One who would die in the midst of the 70th week! Amazingly, the exact same thing is happening today. Sincere Christian scholars are now misapplying the very same prophecy.

The entire “seven-year period of tribulation” theory is an end time delusion, a massive mega-myth. It may even go down in history as the greatest evangelical misinterpretation of all time. The whole concept is like a gigantic bubble. Once Daniel 9:27 is correctly understood and the sharply-pointed pin of truth is inserted, “Pop goes the seven years!” It’s a fact: There is no text in the Bible which teaches a “seven-year tribulation.” If you hunt for it, you’ll end up like Ponce de Leon searching for the mystical Fountain of Youth, but never finding it.

The current debate and tremendous confusion over pre-trib, mid-trib, or post-trib is really a smoke screen of the enemy to hide the real issue. What is the real issue? We’ll find out when we study what the Book of Revelation truly teaches about Israel, Babylon the Great, and Armageddon.

Taken from Chapter 5 of Steve Wohlberg’s newest book, End Time Delusions: The Rapture, the Antichrist, Israel, and the End of the World.

After reading the above, how can anyone not see that we have been lied to and made to believe fables? So, if there isn’t a 7 years tribulation I wonder how long people will continued to wait for a rapture and miss finding truth for believing in lies?

Lost Tribes of the Bible FOUND!!

ISRAEL’S IDENTITY IT MATTERS!

this article is found on www.missiontoisrael.org

Strictly speaking, it is incorrect to call an ancient Israelite a “Jew” and to call a contemporary Jew an “Israelite” or a “Hebrew.
“1 -The Jewish Almanac

Here’s a paradox, a paradox, a most ingenious paradox: an anthropological fact, many [Caucasian] Christians … have much more Hebrew-Israelite blood in their veins than most of their Jewish neighbors.2 -Alfred M.
Lilienthal

The Jewish Almanac’s and Mr. Lilienthal’s assertions are not only anthropological facts, they are also biblical, historical and archaeological facts3 that should be compelling to all who hear them.
The true identity of today’s Israelites is a fact that has profound effects, yet it is often indifferently brushed aside with the question – “What difference does it make?”

Occasionally this question is asked by people in an honest attempt to discover the importance of the Christian Israel message. However, it is often asked by people who do not want to know what difference it makes. “What difference does it make?” is frequently posed by those who recognize, to some degree, the validity of the Christian Israel message and who are unable to dispute it. Their very question presupposes this conclusion. Only people who acknowledge that the Celto-Saxon people,* rather than the Jews,4 are today’s Israelites would ask this question. However, as with nearly everything Christian, there are two types of believers – those who put to practice what they believe, and those who live their lives as if they do not believe when in fact they really do.

*The “Celto-Saxons” mentioned throughout this article refers to the Anglo-Saxon, Scandinavian, Germanic, Celtic and kindred peoples.

Most people employ this question in an attempt to minimize the importance of Israel’s modern identity so they can justify their refusal to embrace it. If properly identifying today’s Israelites makes no difference, then they do not have to act upon that belief.

The question implies that the facts are correct. Consequently, people who ask this question insincerely are really asking, “What difference does truth make?” All truth makes a difference. Yeshua* declared that “…ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:32)** This maxim applies to more than merely the truth pertaining to Yeshua and His atoning blood sacrifice. In some way, to some degree all truth sets us free, if not from anything else, from fallacy, error and lies. Granted, not all truth is of equal importance or of equal consequence. The fact that zebra stripes are black and not white is not as consequential as the truth of gravity. Nevertheless, this does not mean that the truth concerning zebra stripes is unimportant. The truth regarding the redeeming qualities of the blood of Yeshua our Savior is far more consequential than the truth concerning the identity of modern Israel. Nevertheless, this does not mean that Israel’s identity is unimportant. It matters, if for no other reason, than because truth matters. However, there are far more consequential reasons why the Christian Israel truth matters than just because it is true.

*”Yeshua” is the English transliteration of our Savior’s Hebrew name and is preferred by the author.
5
**All Scripture is quoted from the King James Bible unless otherwise noted.

To Whom Does Israel’s Identity Matter?

In discussing to whom Israel’s identity matters, it will become apparent why Israel’s identity matters.

It Matters to Today’s Edomite Jews

Israel’s identity matters to the Edomite Jews* living today or they would not fallaciously claim to be Israel.

*Today’s Jews are Edomites by way of intermarriage between their Khazar ancestors and the Edomites.
6

It is ironic that today’s imposters use every means conceivable to convince the rest of the world that they are Israel, while admitting in their own almanacs, encyclopedias, and historical writings that they are not Israel.7 It is also ironic that these imposters want the world to think that they are Israel whereas most genuine Israelites do not care who they are. This is the reverse of what occurred between Jacob and Esau – the progenitors of today’s Israelites and Edomites.
It was Esau, father of the Edomites, who despised his birthright:

…Isaac was forty years old when he took Rebekah to wife…. And … Rebekah his wife conceived. And the children struggled together within her; and she said, … why am I thus? …YHWH* said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger. And when her days to be delivered were fulfilled, behold, there were twins in her womb. And the first came out red … and they called his name Esau. And after that came his brother out … and his name was called Jacob…. And Jacob [after he was grown] sod pottage: and Esau came from the field…. And Esau said to Jacob, Feed me … with that same red pottage; for I am faint: therefore was his name called Edom. And Jacob said, Sell me this day thy birthright. And Esau said, Behold, I am at the point to die: and what profit shall this birthright do to me? And Jacob said, Swear to me this day; and he sware unto him: and he sold his birthright unto Jacob. Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentiles … thus Esau despised his birthright.
(Genesis 25:20-33)

*Where the Tetragrammaton “YHWH” (the four Hebrew characters that represent the personal name of God) has been incorrectly rendered as “the LORD” or “GOD” in Scripture, the author has taken the liberty to correct those passages and insert “YHWH.
“8

Esau despised his birthright and sold it for a mess of pottage. In other words, he got beans for it. While Esau did not esteem the birthright, Jacob did. However, it is the exact opposite today. Today’s Jews, descendants of Esau, value the birthright enough that they attempt to get it back by hook or crook, whereas most of today’s Israelites, Jacob’s Celto-Saxon descendants, despise their heritage. This is particularly true of Christian Israelites.
Furthermore, many of today’s Israelites are not even getting beans for the birthright; they are throwing it away with the trite question – “What difference does it make?”

It Matters to Israel’s Enemies

Israel’s identity matters to her enemies, demonstrated by their efforts to wipe the name “Israel” from the memory of man by any means possible, even genocide.
This was true in the Patriarch David’s day and it is no different today:

Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God. For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head. They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones. They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance. For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee.
(Psalm 83:1-5)

It was the Edomites, progenitors of today’s Jews, who were foremost in this confederate plot to destroy Israel:

The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes; Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre; Assur also is joined with them: they have holpen [helped] the children of Lot….
(Psalm 83:6-8)

This craftiness continues today. Although Edom has been unable to erase altogether the true identity of Israel, they have done the next best thing by applying the name “Israel” to non-Israelites, thus obscuring the recognition, heritage and rewards due the rightful descendants of Jacob. Today’s imposters actually use the name Israel sparingly. They prefer to be called “Jews,” “Israelis” or “Zionists.

In 500 BC while expounding upon this type of warfare tactic, Chinese philosopher and general, Sun Tzu, declared the importance of not only knowing yourself but of also correctly identifying your enemy:

If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle. .
9

Most Celto-Saxons, secularists and Christians alike, find themselves in the latter of these three conditions; they neither know who they are nor who their enemies are.
Yahweh issued a similar observation over a century prior to Sun Tzu:

My people [Israel] are destroyed for lack of knowledge….
(Hosea 4:6)

The seriousness of misidentification can be illustrated by the following analogy: for people who eat mushrooms, it is crucial that they know the difference between a mushroom and a toadstool. A mistake in identification could be fatal. Misidentifying Celto-Saxons as non-Israelite gentiles and Jews as Israelites is just as fatal to Christianity. These two errors of identification have blinded the world to the machinations of Talmudism and have rendered most Christians defenseless “for fear of the Jews” – John 7:13.

Those who identify the Jews as Israel usually consider the Jews as allies of America and the other Christian nations. There is not a better way for your enemy to destroy you than by convincing you that he is your ally. The Prophet Micah warns us to beware of those who cry, “Peace,” yet who at the same time declare holy war – Micah 3:5. Dr.
Benjamin Freedman, a Jew, tried to alert Christians to their enemies:

The history of the world for the past several centuries and current events at home and abroad, confirm the existence of a conspiracy to destroy Christian civilization. The world-wide plot of these diabolical conspirators has been implemented while most Christians have been asleep. The Christian clergy seem to be more ignorant and indifferent to this plot than other Christians. They seem to bury their heads in the sands of indifference and ignorance like the legendary ostrich. This ignorance and indifference has dealt a severe blow to the Christian faith…. The confusion … is unwarranted and unjustified. It need not exist. It would not exist if the Christian clergy did not aid and abet the deceptions responsible for it. The Christian clergy may be shocked to learn that they have been aiding and abetting [the Jews] the dedicated enemies of the Christian faith. Many of the Christian clergy are actually their allies but may not know it.
10

As a consequence of misidentifying ourselves, and not recognizing that there exists an enemy dedicated to destroying the Christian faith, many Christians have become “bed-fellows” with an enemy whose intent is to destroy us.
The following testimonies to this diabolical plot to destroy Christianity come from Jews themselves:

…the peculiar and chosen race [Jews misnamed] touch the hand of all the scum and low castes of Europe! And all this because they [the Jews] wish to destroy that ungrateful Christendom….
11

Every hundred years, We, the sages of Israel [Judaism] … meet in Sanhedrin [an assembly of Jewish leaders] in order to examine our progress towards the domination of the world … and our conquests over the enemy – Christianity.
12

…only years divide us from the moment of the complete wrecking of that Christian religion….
13

…they [the Jews] are the enemies of God and Jesus Christ … in their daily prayers they curse the Savior [Yeshua the Christ] under the name of the Nazarene; they build new synagogues as if to insult the Christian religion…. In brief, “there is no wickedness in the world which the Jews are not guilty of, so that they seem to aim at nothing but the Christians’ ruin.
” 14

The Jews did not stop there…. Their activity was such as to give rise to … the existence of a secret [Jewish] society sworn to the destruction of Christianity.
15

…attacking all dogmas and forms of Christianity with a bitterness entirely Judaic….
16

The Jew … is not content merely to destroy Christianity, but he preaches the gospel of Judaism [Talmudism]…. He is engaged in his historic mission, the annihilation of the religion of Christ.
17

Judaism is imbued with a very deep hatred towards Christianity…. The very name “Jesus” was for Jews a symbol of all that is abominable, and this popular tradition still persists.
18

Additionally, the leaders of the Celto-Saxon nations and their media have bought the lie that today’s Jews are God’s chosen people. These leaders and their media slander and malign preachers and adherents of the Christian Israel message for merely pointing out that there has been a case of mistaken identity. Nothing has changed since the Patriarch David wrote Psalm 83 – “They have taken crafty counsel against thy people … that the name [or identity] of Israel may be no more in remembrance.

Israel’s enemies want to destroy her with their lies; however, it is the truth of Israel’s identity that will some day expose her enemies as the imposters and liars they are:

Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.
(Matthew 10:26)

It Matters to True Israel

Israel’s identity matters to true Israel in almost every sphere of life – politically, economically, socially, spiritually and morally. The impact upon the Celto-Saxon people worldwide would be earthshaking if they were to discover their Israelite roots. This does not mean that the answer for these nations is in discovering their Israelite heritage alone. However, one cannot come to know his Israelite legacy and not be drawn back, in some degree, to Yahweh and His laws, which is the answer for these nations. Therein is our hope and the hope of our children.

It Matters to All Future Generations of Israel’s Children

Israel’s identity matters to all future generations of Israelites. Children suffer when their parents either squander or give away their legacy. This is precisely what is happening to Israel’s inheritance.
The Apostle Paul answers in part the question, “What inheritance?

…I [the Apostle Paul] could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh: Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth [belongs NASV] the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises; whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came….
(Romans 9:3-5)

Tragically, it is fitting for a generation that are squandering Israel’s inheritance to see grandparents driving travel homes with bumper stickers that read: “We’re spending our children’s inheritance!” They ought to have a companion bumper sticker that reads: “We’re destroying our children’s heritage and their future with it!”

Peter Marshal, co-author of The Light and The Glory,19 pointed out that America is in the state she is because we do not know who we are*:

…the basic problem across our land today is we Americans don’t know who we are or why we’re here…. We’ve lost our sense of purpose and destiny…. It’s very simple: if we don’t know who we’re supposed to be, we don’t know how to fix things. It’s just that basic…. We need God’s solution now. And step one of that is to recover the truth about our heritage.
20

*Peter Marshall’s comments were in reference to America’s Christian roots. His statements are just as valid and pertinent when applied to Celto-Saxondom’s Israelite roots.

American poet Carl Sandburg put it similarly:

…when a nation goes down … when a society or a civilization perishes, one condition may always be found. They forgot where they came from.
21

Karl Marx understood this all too well:

Take away the heritage of a people and they are easily persuaded [and conquered].
22

Could this be the reason for Yahweh’s admonition by way of the Prophet Isaiah:

Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek YHWH: look unto the rock whence ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged. Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you: for I called him alone, and blessed him, and increased him.
(Isaiah 51:1-2)

Yahweh then reveals the rewards and joys that result from seeking Him and from looking back to our identity by way of our forefathers:

…YHWH shall comfort Zion: he will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of YHWH; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.
(Isaiah 51:3)

The nation we are bequeathing to our children is spiritually bankrupt and morally decadent, in part, because we have rejected our identity as Israelites and our corporate relationship with our God. If you care about your children’s future, point them back to Yahweh their God and share with them their heritage as Israelites.

It Matters to the Arabs

Israel’s identity certainly matters to the hundreds of thousands of Arabs who have been displaced or whose relatives have been murdered because today’s Edomite Jews are misidentified as Israelites. These Edomite Jews, under the pretense of being Israelites, have laid claim to the land of Palestine. However, as cogently pointed out by the Jewish author, Dr. Benjamin Freedman, this claim has no genetic, geographic or historical basis. Dr.
Freedman, in a letter written to and published in New York’s National Economic Council’s Newsletter in 1947, testified to this theft:

Popular ignorance of the real basis of political Zionism is beyond calculation. Vaguely most Christian Americans have the idea that the Jews claim Palestine because it was the “promised land” in which they lived for a period of a few centuries that ended 2000 years ago. And the thought of a people returning to its “homeland” seems emotionally satisfying and good.

But here are facts most Americans do not know:

Political Zionism is almost exclusively a movement by the Jews of Europe. But these Eastern European Jews have neither a racial [Israelite] nor a historic connection with Palestine [except by way of their Edomite lineage]. Their ancestors were not inhabitants of the “Promised Land.” They are the direct descendants of the people of the Khazar Kingdom [whose ancestors intermarried with Edomites], which existed until the 12th century.

The Khazars were [principally] a non-Semitic … Mongolian tribal people who, about the 1st century A.D., emigrated from Middle Asia to Eastern Europe…. About the 7th century A.D., the King of the Khazars adopted Judaism as the state religion, and the majority of inhabitants joined him in the new allegiance. Before that date there was no such thing as a Khazar who was a Jew [Judahite Israelite]. Neither then nor since was there such a thing as a Khazar whose ancestors had come from the Holy Land. The Semitic people who established Judaism in Palestine many centuries before the Khazars became converts to the Hebrew faith, did mostly emigrate from Palestine. But none of them [Semitic Judahites] emigrated to the Khazar Kingdom far to the North. 23 [Dr. Freedman erred concerning a connection between Judaism and the Hebrew faith. Judaism or Talmudism, a corrupt and blasphemous religion brought back from Babylon to Judea, has little to do with the Hebrew faith of the Old Covenant.
]

In view of this fact, what becomes of the cry for “repatriation” to the “homeland”? These Eastern European, Yiddish-speaking Jews have no historic or racial [Israelite] connection with Palestine….

…if the Indians should demand America back, would we all pack up and return to the lands of our ancestral origins? Yet the Arabs have been in Palestine a thousand years longer than we have been here [in America].
And if the claim of Palestinian-descended Jews is so dubious, what of the claim of Khazar-descended Jews? Would a single Christian support their trek back to the “homeland” or want to oblige them by expelling the Arabs, if it were known that these Eastern European, Yiddish-speaking Jews who form the Zionist group practically in toto [almost entirely], have neither a geographic, historic nor ethnic connection with either the Jews [Judahite Israelites] of the Old Testament or the land known today as Palestine?24

Alfred Lilienthal, another Jewish doctor, corroborated this abuse of the Arabs by Zionist Jewry:

If the Arabs, who are themselves almost pure Semites, can be accused of anti-Semitism because of their intense and unrelenting opposition to Zionism and to [the State of] Israel, the shoe of bigotry fits much more appropriately on the Israeli foot. The 180,000 Arabs who remained and did not flee the new state upon its establishment in 1948 and the 700,00 Jewish Arabs who emigrated to [the State of] Israel from Yemen, Iraq, Egypt and the North African countries have … been the victims of anti-Semitism….
25

Dr.
Lilienthal then quoted another Jew, William Zukerman, who wrote the following in the October 16, 1961 Jewish Newsletter:

“[The Arabs have] been subjected to a series of discriminations and persecution [by the Jews] which would shock the civilized world, if they were fully known.
“26

Dr.
Lilienthal then continued with his own comments:

While [the State of] Israel is almost universally regarded as the shining example of “democracy” in the Middle East, [the State of] Israel’s 1952 Nationality Act codified discrimination into law and made the Arabs second-class citizens…. Under this law, a Jew may become a citizen of [the State of] Israel after one minute in the land, a status that may be denied to an Arab although his forefathers have been there for a thousand years.
27

…Arab refugees who had passed their entire life in Palestine were arrested, if not shot, as infiltrees [sic], while Jewish immigrants who had lived thousands of miles away and might never have seen Palestine were welcomed as pioneering heroes.
28

These atrocities and more have been achieved and ignored because today’s Jews have been able to hoodwink most of the world into believing that they are Israelites.
It is a slap in the face of these Arabs who have lost their land and, in some cases their loved ones for a Christian to ask, “What difference does Israel’s identity make?”

It Matters to All Americans

Israel’s identity matters to all Americans, both Israelites and non-Israelites alike. Because America has been an accomplice to the theft of Arab land and the murder of Arab lives, we may very well see the day when the Arab nations unite in war against America. Rather than being blessed by Yahweh in such a conflict, America may very well be cursed.

It Matters to the Rest of the World

Israel’s identity matters to the other nations of the world because Abraham’s Israelite descendants are to be a blessing to the rest of the world:

YHWH … said unto Abram, … I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
(Genesis 12:1-3)

…in thy [Abraham's] seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.
(Genesis 22:18)

…thy [Jacob/Israel's] seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.
(Genesis 28:14)

Pastor William Cameron pointed out that Yahweh’s blessings upon Israel were so that other races might also be blessed:

The Bible is not a history of the human race at large, but one distinct strain of people [the Israelites] amongst the family of races. All the other races are considered with reference to it…. The Bible deals with one race, which flows like a Gulf Stream through the ocean of humanity. As the actual Gulf Stream touches two continents and blesses the nations, so this race, in its origin, history and destiny, was selected and equipped for the service of the [other] nations.
29

…A man will rise and demand, “By what right does God choose one race or people above another?” I like that form of the question. It is much better than asking by what right God degrades one people beneath another, although that is implied. God’s grading is always upward. If He raises up a nation, it is that other nations may be raised up through its ministry. If He exalts a great man, an apostle of liberty, or science, or faith, it is that He might raise a degraded people to a better condition. The Divine selection is not a prize, a compliment paid to the man or the race – it is a burden imposed. To appoint a chosen people is not a pandering to the racial vanity of a “superior people;” it is a yoke bound upon the necks of those who are chosen for a special service.
30

Abraham’s Israelite descendants are to be a blessing to the rest of the world when we are serving Yahweh and observing His laws. However, we become a curse to the rest of the world when we refuse to recognize who we are and to whom we belong. Thus, the rest of the world is not experiencing the full-range of blessings that are a by-product of Israel’s relationship with Yahweh. And this relationship will never be fully realized on a national basis until we come to understand who we are.

It Matters to Christians

Israel’s identity matters a great deal to many Christians, that is, so long as today’s Jews are identified as Israelites. However, provide these same Christians with evidence, such as found in The Jewish Almanac, quoted at the beginning of this article, which demonstrates there has been a case of mistaken identity, and suddenly Israel’s identity no longer matters. Whether they are cognizant of it or not, Israel’s true racial identity does matter to Christians, including those who vainly attempt to spiritualize Israel under the New Covenant.
31

The identification of modern Israel is critical to all Christians because of the impact Israel’s misidentification has upon what Christians believe and practice. For example, many pastors inform their flocks that unless they bless the Jews, they cannot expect to be blessed themselves. Consequently, billions of dollars in foreign aid, by way of Christian Zionist ministries and unlawful government taxes, are sent to support Zionism’s “repatriation” of Palestine. In other words, billions of Christian dollars are being utilized to pillage and murder Palestinian Arabs in an attempt to remove them from their land and give it to Edomite Jews.
Consequently, Christians are being duped into giving aid and comfort to Yahweh’s enemies, and thus they come under the condemnation of the Prophet Jehu’s rebuke of King Jehoshaphat:

…Shouldest thou help the ungodly, and love them that hate YHWH? Therefore is wrath upon thee from before YHWH.
(2 Chronicles 19:2)

Look at the record. Since 1948 and the formation of the State of Israel, America has steadily declined socially, politically, economically, educationally, spiritually and morally. In other words, instead of being blessed for her handouts to the Israelis, America has been and is being cursed.

Having been repeatedly told that today’s Jews are God’s chosen people, many Christians will balk at the implication that Jews are wicked and the enemies of Yahweh. Nevertheless, this is generally true. It is sinful to pose under a false identity in order to steal an inheritance that belongs to the rightful heir.
For this reason and others, Yeshua identified such Jews as a “synagogue of Satan”:

…I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews [Judahite Israelites], and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.
(Revelation 2:9)

…I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews [Judahite Israelites], and are not, but do lie … to come and worship before thy [the church of Philadelphia's] feet, and to know that I have loved thee.
(Revelation 3:9)

It is also wicked of today’s Jews to steal, by deceit and murder, land that belongs to the Palestinian Arabs.
Furthermore, many Jews testify to their own wickedness:

…there are … good, solid reasons why the world should dislike us, and I, as a Jew, will utter them. …We are today the most bitterly despised people in the world. Never was a people so simply, so tenaciously, so whole-heartedly loathed….
Why should not the intelligentsia of Europe [and the rest of the world] hate us?32

…one by one the industries of the country close to them [the Jews] because of [their] unfair practices – until, it being impossible to longer hold in check the wrath of a betrayed people, there is violence, and inevitably, an ignominious ejection of the whole race from the land. There is not a single instance when the Jews have not fully deserved the bitter fruit of the fury of their persecutors…. We come to the nations pretending to escape persecution, we [Jews] the most deadly persecutors in all the wretched annals of man.
33

…the general causes of antisemitism have resided in Israel [the Jewish imposters themselves]….
34

…since it [the Jewish people] had become a deicide [destroyer of God], it had become the fallen people par excellence … having … brought the world’s … ruin.
35

We Jews have spoiled the blood of the races, we have tarnished and broken their power, we have made everything foul, rotten, decomposed and decayed.
36

We who have posed as Saviours of the World … we [Jews] are today nothing else but the world’s seducers, its destroyers, its incendiaries, its executioners…. We who have promised to lead you to a new heaven, we have finally succeeded in landing you into a new hell.
37

We Jews, we, the destroyers, will remain the destroyers forever. Nothing that you will do will meet our needs and demands. We will forever destroy because we need a world of our own….
38

As a consequence of misidentifying today’s Jews as Israel, many Christian churches have been aiding and abetting the enemies of God and true Israel. The identity of today’s Israelites matters to all Christians whether they know it or not. If it does not matter to these Christians now, it will matter to them when they are standing before the judgment seat of God and they are faced with the fact that they have been helping the wicked and loving those who hate Yahweh.
Modern Christians have not been blessing Jacob/Israel’s descendants, but rather Esau/Edom’s descendants for whom Yahweh has a perpetual hatred:

The burden of the word of YHWH to Israel by Malachi. I have loved you, saith YHWH. Yet ye say, Wherein hast thou loved us? Was not Esau Jacob’s brother? Saith YHWH: yet I loved Jacob, And I hated Esau…. Whereas Edom saith, We are impoverished, but we will return and build the desolate places; thus saith YHWH of hosts, They shall build, but I will throw down; and they shall call them, The border of wickedness, and, The people against whom YHWH hath indignation for ever.
(Malachi 1:1-4)

For those who spiritualize Israel under the New Covenant, Israel’s identity will matter to them as well when they stand before the judgment seat of God and they discover that they have been doing next to nothing in support of true Israel whom Yahweh loves most:*

He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination to YHWH.
(Proverbs 17:15)

*Israel is Yahweh’s beloved; therefore, He esteems her above all others. Exodus 19:5-6, Deuteronomy 7:6, 14:2, Psalm 105:6, 135:4, Isaiah 41:8, Malachi 1:1-3, Matthew 10:6, 15:24, Romans 9:3-5, 13, etc.

Additionally, Israel’s identity matters to all Christians because without correctly identifying Israel in and out of the Bible, much scripture and prophecy is unable to be interpreted and applied correctly. One continually hears how fulfilled prophecy is dependent upon what the Jews do and do not do. However, the Jews are not Israelites, so prophecies concerning Israel cannot be fulfilled by Jews.

It Matters to Truth Seekers

Israel’s identity matters to people to whom truth is paramount. It makes no difference to truth seekers where a truth may lead them or what persecution may accompany that truth. This should be said of all Christians.
However, this is not the case or they would not be asking, “What difference does Israel’s identity make?” Truth seekers are very rare as testified to in the book of Jeremiah the Prophet:

Run ye to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem, and … seek in the broad places thereof, if ye can find a man, if there be any that executeth judgment, that seeketh the truth….
(Jeremiah 5:1)

The Prophet Hanani made a similar statement:

For the eyes of YHWH move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His….
(2 Chronicles 16:9 NASV)

Regrettably and often tragically, many Christians are more apt to defend their sacred and often man-made doctrines than they are to embrace a truth previously unknown to them. However, Christians should have no sacred doctrines, only sacred truth. If doctrine must be sacrificed on the altar of truth, so be it.
It is much better than truth being sacrificed on the altar of some man-made tradition:

Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias [Isaiah] prophesy of you, saying, This people draweth nigh unto me [Yahweh] with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
(Matthew 15:7-9)

For anyone seeking after Yahweh, they must do so in truth:

YHWH is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.
(Psalm 145:18)

Because Yeshua is the truth there is no other way to Yahweh but through Yeshua and His blood atoning sacrifice:

Yeshua saith…, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
(John 14:6)

Additionally, because Yeshua is the embodiment of all truth, “in whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge,” – Colossians 2:2-3, all truth should be significant to everyone who seeks Yahweh. In fact, rejection of any truth, is in part a rejection of Yeshua.

It Matters to Yahweh

Israel’s identity matters to Yahweh. Israel was Yahweh’s beloved wife, and it is untenable that His wife’s identity is unimportant to Him.
Israel may have forgotten or lost her identity, but Yahweh has not forgotten who she is:

…O Jacob my servant; and Israel, whom I have chosen … thou art my servant: I have formed thee.… O Israel, thou shalt not be forgotten of me.
(Isaiah 44:1-21)

It is impossible for Yahweh to forget Israel or He could never fulfill His word as found, for example, in Jeremiah 31:

Behold, the days come, saith YHWH, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith YHWH…. Thus saith YHWH, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night…. If those ordinances depart from before me, saith YHWH, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever. …If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith YHWH.
(Jeremiah 31:31-37)

Of course Yahweh’s word is always fulfilled and thus it has been Israelites with whom the New Covenant has been made just as He promised. Take a globe and draw circles around the landmasses in which Christianity has flourished and you will find that your circles encompass those nations primarily composed of Celto-Saxons. Either the Celto-Saxon peoples comprise Israel or Yahweh has not been true to His word, and He has established His New Covenant with someone other than whom He promised He would. Yahweh was and still is true to His word and it has been the Celto-Saxon peoples who, in accordance with Jeremiah’s prophecy, have most readily embraced the New Covenant religion of Christianity and have been most responsive to Yeshua’s call of salvation over the last two thousand years. In fact, the other nations would be oblivious to Christianity if it had not been for the Celto-Saxons proliferation of the New Covenant.

Israel’s Identity – It Matters!

Israel’s identity, although not the most important truth, is one of the most important truths in the Scriptures.
It matters to the Edomite Jews, to Israel’s enemies, to true Israel, to all future generations of Israel’s children, to the Arabs, to all Americans, to the rest of the world, to all Christians, to truth seekers and most importantly to Yahweh! Shouldn’t it matter to you?

If you want to make a difference in this world then share the message of the redeeming, blood-atoning sacrifice of Yeshua our Lord and Savior with as many Israelites as possible.
You also need to tell them the reason why Yeshua’s sacrifice is so important to them, that is, because they are Israelites and it is they whom He came to redeem:

Let Israel hope in YHWH: for with YHWH there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption. And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
(Psalm 130:7-8)

Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people, and hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David; as he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets….
(Luke 1:68-70)

Every Israelite needs to know who He is and who they are because IT MATTERS!
