If Satan Were an Angel…
Posted by Lynn on August 14, 2008
Angels do not sin…..
Seeing that sin brings death, it follows therefore that they cannot sin. Angels were made higher than man who we know are all sinners worthy of death. The word angel comes from the Greek word “aggelos” which means messenger and is not exclusive to just celestial beings as many times angel is referring to humans.
Angels according to scriptures, (all of them) are by nature obedient to YHWH and therefore cannot sin.
Psa 103:19 The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all.
Psa 103:20 Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.
Psa 103:21 Bless ye the LORD, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure.
Psa 148:2 Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts.
Heb 1:13 But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?
Heb 1:14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
The word all shows that the angels are not divided into two groups, good and evil.
Luk 20:35 But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:
Luk 20:36 Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.Heb 2:16 For verily he (Messiah) took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.
The nature of angels would mean that the Messiah couldn’t die and He had to. Therefore he took on the seed of Abraham. Luke 20 above shows there is only one group of angels not two.
If angels could sin, then YHWH is left impotent in our lives and the affairs of the world, seeing that HE has declared that He works through His angels in Psalms 103:19-21.
Psa 104:4 Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire:
YHWH achieves all things by His Spirit power working through His angels. It is impossible that they can be disobedient to Him. We should be praying daily for His kingdom to come to us here on earth and that His will be done here as it is already done in heaven.
Mat 6:10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Many churches have the ideology that angels can sin and that these or this sinful angel is responsible for all sins and problems on earth. How can there be sinful angels in heaven when YHWH eyes behold no evil nor can evil dwell with HIm?
Hab 1:13 Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity: wherefore lookest thou upon them that deal treacherously, and holdest thy tongue when the wicked devoureth the man that is more righteous than he?
Psa 5:4 For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee.
Psa 5:5 The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.
In light of this information, how can there be a fallen angel archenemy of YHWH?
Mar 7:15 There is nothing from without a man, that entering into him can defile him: but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man.
Mar 7:16 If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.
Mar 7:17 And when he was entered into the house from the people, his disciples asked him concerning the parable.
Mar 7:18 And he saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Do ye not perceive, that whatsoever thing from without entereth into the man, it cannot defile him;
Mar 7:19 Because it entereth not into his heart, but into the belly, and goeth out into the draught, purging all meats?
Mar 7:20 And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man.
Mar 7:21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,
Mar 7:22 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:
Mar 7:23 All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.
It is the heart of man that is evil and sinful. The bible is quite clear on the wicked nature of man. There isn’t a need to invent a superhuman to blame our sins on.
Jer 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
It is a very foolish thing to call evil good and good evil but by believing as many do today on fallen angels that they do not even understand, that is exactly what is happening.
Isa 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
Isa 5:21 Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!
This is why we are told to be quick to listen and slow to speak because we are ignorant to what we speak of if we do not have the full understanding of the matter.
Jas 1:18 Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
Jas 1:19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:
Now here is something to think about before you say there is a satan archenemy fallen angel god,
2Pe 2:10 But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, self-willed, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.
2Pe 2:11 Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord.
2Pe 2:12 But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;Jud 1:8 Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.
Jud 1:9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.
Jud 1:10 But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.
Jud 1:11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Korah.
Jud 1:12 These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;
Jud 1:13 Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever.
If you believe in satan as an angel of celestial nature WOE UNTO YOU!

Who WAS Lucifer?
Posted by Lynn on August 14, 2008
The word “Lucifer” is found only one time and that Is in the KJV bible in Isaiah 14. Many today believe that Lucifer is the name of a fallen archangel, the arch enemy of YHWH and mankind. What they fail to do is take the entire context and find out what Isaiah 14 is actually talking about or whom is referred to as Lucifer.
Lucifer was never the name of a person. It was translated from the Hebrew word “hêylêl” and according to Brown-Driver-Briggs Concordance is means
Lucifer = “light-bearer”
1) shining one, morning star, Lucifer
1a) of the king of Babylon and Satan (figuratively)
2) (TWOT) ‘Helel’ describing the king of Babylon
Notice satan is figuratively not literally. Lucifer should not have been put in the context at all. It would be more correct to have it read shining one or morning star. So who is Lucifer in Isaiah 14? Let’s take a look and see.
Isa 14:1 For the LORD will have mercy on Jacob, and will yet choose Israel, and set them in their own land: and the strangers shall be joined with them, and they shall cleave to the house of Jacob.
Isa 14:2 And the people shall take them, and bring them to their place: and the house of Israel shall possess them in the land of the LORD for servants and handmaids: and they shall take them captives, whose captives they were; and they shall rule over their oppressors.
Isa 14:3 And it shall come to pass in the day that the LORD shall give thee rest from thy sorrow, and from thy fear, and from the hard bondage wherein thou wast made to serve,
Isa 14:4 That thou shalt take up this proverb against the king of Babylon, and say, How hath the oppressor ceased! the golden city ceased!
Here we see it is the king of Babylon that is talked about in this chapter. YHWH told the house of Jacob in other words the tribes of Israel to take up what will be written next as a proverb against the king of Babylon.
Isa 14:5 The LORD hath broken the staff of the wicked, and the scepter of the rulers.
Isa 14:6 He who smote the people in wrath with a continual stroke, he that ruled the nations in anger, is persecuted, and none hindereth.
Isa 14:7 The whole earth is at rest, and is quiet: they break forth into singing.
Isa 14:8 Yea, the fir trees rejoice at thee, and the cedars of Lebanon, saying, Since thou art laid down, no feller is come up against us.
Isa 14:9 Hell from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming: it stirreth up the dead for thee, even all the chief ones of the earth; it hath raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations.
Isa 14:10 All they shall speak and say unto thee, Art thou also become weak as we? art thou become like unto us?
Isa 14:11 Thy pomp is brought down to the grave, and the noise of thy viols: the worm is spread under thee, and the worms cover thee.
Isa 14:12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
King Nebuchadnezzar came against the nations of Jacob/Israel and took them captive. He tried to kill the three Hebrew men in fire for not bowing down to him.
Isa 14:13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
Isa 14:14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
These words do not fit the character of a supposed Devil power. Here was a Dictator, a King, one who had conquered Israel with a great slaughter by Yahweh’s will. He had taken them to Babylon…he had conquered Syria, Egypt, Moab, Ammon, and Arabia and many other lands. His pride and arrogance knew no bounds, and one day, in the Palace of Babylon, he made the boastful speech…..“Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for the house of the Kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honor of my majesty?” (Dan 4:30) Even as the last words were upon his lips, a voice from heaven passed judgment upon him and he was driven from his throne…(Daniel 4:31). Do you not see in this impious speech, the same outline as Isaiah speaks of ….“I WILL ascend above the heights of the clouds [heaven]; I WILL be like the most high [in authority].” (Isaiah 14:14).
Isa 14:15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
The word hell comes from the Hebrew word she’ôl
According Brown-Divers-Diggs it means
1) sheol, underworld, grave, hell, pit
1a) the underworld
1b) Sheol – the OT designation for the abode of the dead
1b1) place of no return
1b2) without praise of God
1b3) wicked sent there for punishment
1b4) righteous not abandoned to it
1b5) of the place of exile (figuratively)
1b6) of extreme degradation in sin
When ever you see sheol in other areas it means the grave or place of death. Man goes to the grave, not archangels.
Isa 14:16 They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;
Nebuchadnezzar made the nations of Israel quake. He was a conquering king that thought he was a god.
Isa 14:17 That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?
He destroyed Jerusalem in 586 BC and looted the temple built by Solomon and destroyed it.
Those reading Daniel’s wonderful interpretation of Nebuchadnezzar’s dream (Daniel 2:37) will see what a proud position this King had held, for God had given him the greatest of all empires (up to that time). He had been used as a scourge against Israel, for their sin before Yahweh, but retribution was now to come, for this great King was driven from his throne by seven years of madness. This was an enormous “come-down” for a great King who had caused all the nations “to tremble.” His fear was upon all nations, one after another they fell before him.
Isa 14:18 All the kings of the nations, even all of them, lie in glory, every one in his own house.
Isa 14:19 But thou art cast out of thy grave like an abominable branch, and as the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a carcass trodden under feet.
Isa 14:20 Thou shalt not be joined with them in burial, because thou hast destroyed thy land, and slain thy people: the seed of evildoers shall never be renowned.
Do angels need to be buried?
Isa 14:21 Prepare slaughter for his children for the iniquity of their fathers; that they do not rise, nor possess the land, nor fill the face of the world with cities.
Isa 14:22 For I will rise up against them, saith the LORD of hosts, and cut off from Babylon the name, and remnant, and son, and nephew, saith the LORD.
Do angels have sons and nephews? Nebuchadnezzar did.
Isa 14:23 I will also make it a possession for the bittern, and pools of water: and I will sweep it with the broom of destruction, saith the LORD of hosts.
Isa 14:24 The LORD of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand:
Isa 14:25 That I will break the Assyrian in my land, and upon my mountains tread him under foot: then shall his yoke depart from off them, and his burden depart from off their shoulders.
Isa 14:26 This is the purpose that is purposed upon the whole earth: and this is the hand that is stretched out upon all the nations.
Isa 14:27 For the LORD of hosts hath purposed, and who shall disannul it? and his hand is stretched out, and who shall turn it back?
Isa 14:28 In the year that king Ahaz died was this burden.
Isa 14:29 Rejoice not thou, whole Philistia, because the rod of him that smote thee is broken: for out of the serpent’s root shall come forth a cockatrice, and his fruit shall be a fiery flying serpent.
Isa 14:30 And the firstborn of the poor shall feed, and the needy shall lie down in safety: and I will kill thy root with famine, and he shall slay thy remnant.
Isa 14:31 Howl, O gate; cry, O city; thou, whole Philistia, art dissolved: for there shall come from the north a smoke, and none shall be alone in his appointed times.
Isa 14:32 What shall one then answer the messengers of the nation? That the LORD hath founded Zion, and the poor of his people shall trust in it.
Clearly the one being addressed here is a man and not a celestial being. After all, angels do not disobey YHWH. Man was made with the evil heart and man is the one identified by scriptures as being evil and against YHWH. One thing for sure, lucifer is not a name of anyone but rather a mistranslation of a word that was in reference to the king of Babylon that took Judah captive (as prophesied) and then was destroyed by YHWH ( as prophesied).

False Worship, Mysticism and Taking the Mark
Posted by Lynn on August 5, 2008
Rev 13:16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
Rev 13:17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
Rev 14:9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man WORSHIP THE BEAST and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
Rev 14:10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
Rev 14:11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who WORSHIP THE BEAST and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.Rev 15:2 And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.
Rev 16:2 And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which WORSHIPPED his image.
Rev 19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that WORSHIPPED his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not WORSHIPPED THE BEAST, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
Notice how many times worship is mentioned in connection with the mark of the beast.
It is quite clear that worship is important. What we worship is even more relevant. Those that had not God and worshiped the beast or his image or likeness are the ones destroyed. What is this beast with two horns. Although I cannot share who I believe is the two horns I can tell you what I believe they represent. Judean-Christianity. Judaism supporting Christians. Those that claim to love Jesus and the Jew. The Messiah and a religion that hates Yeshua Messiah and speaks abominations which John refers to as the Antichrist. I believe it represents the churches that practice mysticism within, jumping around naming and claiming whatever they feel, having a holy ghost party, tongue speaking and never even opening the book to learn anything but only knowing how to be lead around by their church and elders like a dumb sheep going to slaughter. Believing in every wave of doctrine and having itchy ears needing to be scratched. Fearing satan (not understanding the enemy is within their beliefs) more than having Fear of YHWH. They do worship a beast named Lucifer openly but the worship the first beast unawares.
False worship is serious folks. We need to gird ourselves in truth! Build up our knowledge in truth that no man can take from us. Where moth cannot eat or destroy. Truth can be hard to handle but what would you prefer, a delusion that will bring you death?
Got Truth? If not GET IT!

What is the Anti-Christ?
Posted by Lynn on August 5, 2008
Everywhere people are waiting on this one man that copy cats YHWH and brings peace to the world then sudden destruction. Who is he and where will he come from? Will we be able to know it is him?
First what is an Antichrist according to scriptures?
1Jn 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
2Jn 1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.
According to John, the antichrist is anyone that do not believe Yeshua was flesh and came into the world.
Also according to John, the Antichrist was already in the world at the time he wrote this letter. A deceiver that teaches Yeshua is not the Messiah is an Antichrist. Where do people get that it will be one man?
2Th 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
Rev 13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
Dan 9:26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
Dan 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
These are the scriptures most used so lets look at them…
2Th 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and [that] man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
The word [that] should not be there. It is an added word. Man refers to human beings. Revealed means to have a cover removed. Son is kinsman, child, son, foal and perdition means destruction or waste.
I do not believe this is speaking of one man. This is speaking of man in general. A certain kind of man. Anyone that says Yeshua is not the Messiah according to John. Any religion that teaches Yeshua is not the Messiah is an Antichrist religion. When you take the word [that] out as it should not be there man of sin must be uncovered who is the children of destruction that believe not on Yeshua.
Rev 13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number [of a] man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
The words [of a] is not necessary here either. It was added to the word man. Once again man in general and not one man. So this type of man also has a numeric value to his names. There is only one language I know of that serves as numbers and letters. the numbers 666 signify man not fallen angels.
(My words in blue)
Dan 9:26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, (half way through his ministry he was crucified) but not for himself: and the people of the prince (Messiah) that shall come(foretelling of this week and Messiah’s first coming) shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. ( and with his death and resurrection, the people still sinned and turned not to YHWH through Yeshua and in 70 AD this was fulfilled)
Dan 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week( He, the Messiah, walked among His people and His apostles through the week or period of time of His ministry) : and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, (In the middle of the week He was sacrificed and the obligation to kill and sacrifice animals stopped) and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. (He destroyed the city and temple because they continued their sacrifice and did not turn to YHWH through Yeshua)
How anyone can teach these in Daniel are referring to any Antichrist is beyond me. It is clear that Daniel was telling of the first coming of Yeshua.
The Antichrist is not one man just as the seventy weeks of Daniel that Christians believe is about an evil one is a delusion. There are people today that believe and tell others through their beliefs and their religion’s belief that Yeshua is not the Messiah and one of them has numbers in his language, in his very name and they are flesh and blood men that seek to destroy all that are not like them.
If you are waiting on one man to rise to power and be THE ANTICHRIST you will be deceived. If you believe that the the religion that numbers their name and rejects Yeshua is God’s Chosen People then you are supporting the very one you are waiting for. If you practice rejecting Yeshua then YOU are an Antichrist.

What is Wrong With Today’s Church Going Christians?
Posted by Lynn on July 29, 2008
Ignorance…Plain and simple.
Hos 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
2Ti 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
Isa 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
Pro 28:10 Whoso causeth the righteous to go astray in an evil way, he shall fall himself into his own pit: but the upright shall have good things in possession.
Jer 4:22 For my people is foolish, they have not known me; they are sottish children, and they have none understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge.
Jer 13:10 This evil people, which refuse to hear my words, which walk in the imagination of their heart, and walk after other gods, to serve them, and to worship them, shall even be as this girdle, which is good for nothing.
Psa 14:3 They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
Rom 3:12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
What has happened? Well, what has happened is NOTHING. The church is the way it has been for years. The only difference is people of Israel are waking and understanding and seeking knowledge because YHWH has touched them. Now with eyes open we can see how far we have fallen and if you go to a church, any denomination, that teaches lies, and you accept it then you are in a false religion and if you reject His knowledge, He has rejected you and your children.
What lies you may ask…. Here is a short list of doctrines of devils…
- the rapture
- hell is eternal BBQ pit for wicked
- satan is a fallen angel
- satan is Lucifer and is responsible for evil
- God loves everyone
- Salvation is for everyone
- free will
- when you die you are going to heaven
- asking Jesus into your heart
- 7 year tribulation period
- seedline theory
- the law is no longer in effect
- race-mixing is acceptable practice
- Jews are God’s chosen people
These are just a few..There are many many more. If you believe these then you need to study and ask for understanding. And do as He told His chosen to either…
Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
“Her” being false religions believing in false doctrines of demons. or instead remember this…
2Th 2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
2Th 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
2Th 2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Whatever is Satan

WHATEVER IS “SATAN”?
Arnold Kennedy
INTRODUCTION.
The Bible always makes it clear that we are all responsible for our actions; that we must reap what we sow, and that in the end we have to give account to God for those things “done in the body”.
2 Cor 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
But the churches commonly present a conflicting message about this:
[a] That what we do “in the body” is what they call “works”, and is somehow irrelevant after being “justified by faith”.
[b] That what they call “Satan”-[an un-translated word meaning “adversary”]- is to be blamed for everything bad in this world.
This view is not valid! To show this we shall firstly consider the word “Satan”.
THE WORD “SATAN”.
From the “Dictionary of Bible Symbolism” by B.A. Hunter, we read about “satan”.,
Literally, “adversary;” “opponent.” The Hebrew word “satan’ is not a name, but merely a transliteration, meaning simply “an opponent or adversary”. In the O.T. it is transliterated as though it were a proper name (Satan) 19 times, with 14 of these occurrences in Job. Other O.T. passages correctly translate it as “adversary”, or “be an adversary”, “resist”, or “withstand”. In the N.T., the translators have rendered it as a proper name, in spite of the fact it is the same transliterated Hebrew word which in no way implies a supernatural being such as is conjured up in the modern mind.
The only time the Hebrew word ‘satan” is applied other than to mortal man is when it is twice applied to God Himself !! The first occurrence of this application is in Numbers 22:22, in which passage it has correctly been translated as “adversary”. Again, in I Chronicles 21:11 it is God Himself Who is referred to as ‘Satan,” as is illustrated by the parallel passage of 11 Samuel 24:1.
In the Greek Septuagint, the word is the New Testament equivalent of “devil”, and is also found in Esther 7:4, Psalm 108:6, as well as the other commonly known places where “satan” is found translated as such from the Masoretic Text. What follows comes from the latter text.
The important things to note are,
“The Hebrew word “satan’ is not a name, but merely a transliteration, meaning simply “an opponent or adversary”.
Strong 7854 confirms the Hebrew, “adversary (in general – personal or national)” and
Strong 4567 confirms the Greek, “adversary (one who opposes another in purpose or act).
♦ Thus anything in any way that is an adversary to God or to Man is “a satan”.
♦ The transliterated Hebrew word in no way implies a supernatural being such as is conjured up in the modern mind.
♦ The word “satan” can also be applied to God! [This is important to understanding of what the word “satan” actually means].
♦ In the O.T. it is transliterated as though it were a proper name, whereas it is not in fact.
For generations, the wrong transliteration of the word “satan” into the proper noun “Satan” by translators has created a non-Biblical doctrine. This suggests that there are two gods, one good God and one bad god who are fighting each other for supposedly “immortal souls”. This idea is what most churchgoers perceive because it is subtly presented to them this way.
This happens from Sunday School, e.g. the ditty “This little light of mine, I’m going to let it shine”……Don’t let Satan blow it out” etc. The “Satan” concept has been instilled in children from a very early age!
This basic idea behind all the world’s heathen religions has infiltrated the churches. Translations and traditions cause this to be virtually standard teaching, the origin of which we shall consider further on. Most churchgoers are brought up with this idea and it has become deeply ingrained into their subconscious minds.
WHERE DOES EVIL ACTUALLY COME FROM?
Now, having looked briefly at the word “Satan”. We can consider exactly where the evil actually comes from.
Jeremiah 17:9-10 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.
Genesis 8:21 For the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth.
Hebrews 3:12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
Note that the New Testament and the Old Testament are in exact agreement about the “evil heart” and the consequences of what we do!
Jesus confirms the source of evil:
Matthew 15:19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:
Now the questions these verses raise are:
1. If there is nothing worse than the human heart, and if all evil proceeds from the human heart, could there possibly be some being supposedly worse called “Satan”?
It is clear that the answer to the first question is that the evil comes out of the heart, there being no mention of a “Satan” as an personal identity or “satan” as an adversary.
2. Do we “say” things in our hearts, or do we blame “Satan” for thoughts and words that originate evil, as churches infer?
Let us consider together a few verses concerning the second question taking notice of the phrase “said in his heart”. In them there again is no mention of a “Satan” or “satan”.
Genesis 17:17 Then Abraham fell upon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall a child be born unto him that is an hundred years old? and shall Sarah, that is ninety years old, bear?
Genesis 27:41 And Esau hated Jacob because of the blessing wherewith his father blessed him: and Esau said in his heart, The days of mourning for my father are at hand; then will I slay my brother Jacob.
Psalm 10:6-13 He hath said in his heart, I shall not be moved: for I shall never be in adversity. His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud: under his tongue is mischief and vanity. He sitteth in the lurking places of the villages: in the secret places doth he murder the innocent: his eyes are privily set against the poor. He lieth in wait secretly as a lion in his den: he lieth in wait to catch the poor: he doth catch the poor, when he draweth him into his net. He croucheth, and humbleth himself, that the poor may fall by his strong ones. He hath said in his heart, God hath forgotten: he hideth his face; he will never see it. Arise, O LORD; O God, lift up thine hand: forget not the humble. Wherefore doth the wicked contemn God? he hath said in his heart, Thou wilt not require it.
Psalm 14:11 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
Obadiah 3 The pride of thine heart hath deceived thee, thou that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, whose habitation is high; that saith in his heart, Who shall bring me down to the ground?
Luke 12:45 But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken.
Now, there are hundreds of verses in the Bible referring to the human heart that do not bear any reference to “Satan”. [There are some 46 New Testament verses referring to “the devil” which we will come back to later]. So when religious persons blame “Satan” for evil in people, they are passing on religious tradition and are generating untruths. It is simply passing blame for the actions of their unregenerate and wicked hearts onto another supposed entity.
This is the vogue today, even in our law courts, where blame is passed on to someone or to something else. This is denying responsibility and accountability. It is the false, “the devil made me do it”, trip we often hear about. It is somewhat like people who are dying through having smoked tobacco for years, blaming the tobacco growers or tobacco manufacturers for their condition, as we find them now doing.
Yes, it is always our just God who is sovereign, not “Satan”.
John 12:40 He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.
These things said Esaias, when he saw his glory, and spake of him.
Prov. 16:4 The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil. Why?
Prov. 16:6 By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil.
Honesty demands that we should admit our part in yielding to temptation.
James 1:13-16 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. Do not err, my beloved brethren.
Let us no longer err about this in blaming “Satan”, as the churches do!
NONE OTHER GODS.
The churches effectively have two gods before them, despite what the Bible presents:
Deuteronomy 5:7 Thou shalt have NONE OTHER gods before me.
God emphatically denies the two-god concept. Please note the capitalized words in the next verses.
Psalm 83:18 That men may know that thou, whose name ALONE is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth.
Isaiah 37:16 O LORD of hosts, God of Israel, that dwellest between the cherubims, thou art the God, even thou ALONE, of all the kingdoms of the earth: thou hast made heaven and earth.
Isaiah 44:24 Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth BY MYSELF.
! Cor. 8:4-6 As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that THERE IS NONE OTHER GOD BUT ONE. For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,) But to us there is but ONE GOD, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.
Ephesians 4:6 ONE GOD and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
James 2:19 Thou believest that there is ONE GOD; thou doest well:
So if we have any concept at all in our minds about there being two Gods [or more] we are not doing well!
Quoting Charles Spurgeon, “There are certain doctrines called Calvanistic, which I think commend themselves to the minds of all thoughtful persons for this reason mainly – they ascribe to God everything”.
THE WORD “ADVERSARY”.
As soon as we put the right meaning as “adversary” onto the word “satan”, that is “adversary (in general – personal or national)” and, “adversary (one who opposes another in purpose or act) – Strongs 7854 and 4567”) we can start to get a glimmer of light on this subject. Remember that Jesus called Peter “satan” when Peter was being an adversary to Him. Yet Peter could not have been the literal “Satan” pictured by the churches.
The following passages exemplify the alternatively rendered word to illustrate the fact that the meaning of the word “satan” has been distorted. We should read “adversary” where “satan” is written.
Num. 22:22 And God’s anger was kindled because he went: and the angel of the Lord stood in the way for an adversary (i.e. a satan) against him….
1 Sam. 29:4 And the princes of the Philistines were wroth with him; and the princes of the Philistines said unto him, Make this fellow return, that he may go again to his place which thou hast appointed him, and let him not go down with us to battle, lest in the battle he be an adversary -
(i.e. a satan) to us….
Note: Because “adversary” is the same word as that translated as “Satan” elsewhere, in this verse, David is called a “satan” to the Philistines.
2 Sam 24:1 And again the anger of the Lord was kindled against Israel, and he moved David against them to say, Go, number Israel and Judah.
Note: This passage specifies that it was God who moved David. It is parallel to the following passage in Chronicles which states God was an “satan” [opponent].
I Chron. 21:1 And Satan (i.e. God as an adversary of Israel) stood up against Israel, and provoked David to number Israel.
Ps. 38.20 They also that render evil for good are mine adversaries (satans); because I follow the thing that good is.
Ps. 71:13 Let them be confounded and consumed that are adversaries (satans) to my soul; let them be covered with reproach and dishonour that seek my hurt.
The word “adversaries” is “satan” in the Hebrew in these two verses, as in many others.
Psalm 109:4-6 For my love they are my adversaries: but I give myself unto prayer. And they have rewarded me evil for good, and hatred for my love. Set thou a wicked man over him: and let Satan [an adversary] stand at his right hand.
The word translated as “adversaries” [7853] in this verse is a different form of the same root word translated “Satan” [7854] at the end of the verse. Note how the translators wrongly put in a capital “S” as they have in so many places to try to make Scripture fit their beliefs.
Next we shall see that the New Testament confirms the Old Testament.
Matt 16:22-23 Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee. But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.
Note: The word “offence” means “the trigger of a trap”. The things that are “of men” are the adversary nature and what comes from the evil heart of fallen Man.
Mark 1:13 And he was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted of Satan [i.e. adversary]; and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered unto him.
2 Thess 2:8-9 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan [i.e. adversary] with all power and signs and lying wonders.
Revelation 2:9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan [i.e. of adversaries].
Revelation 3:9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan [i.e. of adversaries], which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.
Again, these verses have a capitalised “S” wrongly inserted by the translators.
ORIGINS.
Scripture does not anywhere present a supernatural being known as Satan which is often conjured up as a being having horns, cloven hoofs and a tail, among other things. Although there is reference to a great red dragon having a tail in Rev. 12:4, this is the concept of Judaism we see in, “He hath Beelzebub, and, by the prince of the demons casteth he out the demons—[Mark 3:19]. This is where the idea comes from that “Satan” is the ruler of the devils. Most churches are Judeo-Christian and this is their popular belief. “Judeo-Christian” does not mean “Christian” or “Biblical”. The word “Judeo” refers to the belief structure Judah adopted when in captivity in Babylon. This was the popular belief in Judea in Bible times. Jesus always condemned these traditional beliefs. But the churches accept them.
The Gnostic, Cabalistic (Jewish), Saducee and Christian Scientist idea is that evil is non-existent -[Acts 23:8]. The Jewish Encyclopaedia says, “As the Divine has true being, evil is that which had no being”. The consequence of this belief can be seen in the immorality advocated in the Jewish Talmud. What these all deny is what the Bible says about the nature of the human heart as the source of evil.
It is popular to say that God created the world out of nothing but we are not told that is so. God simply created. This act transcends the ability of the human mind to comprehend. What we can understand is that part God tells us about, namely that God made laws to which there would be good consequences for keeping them and “evil” consequences for not keeping them. He gave His people a choice and let them choose the consequences. But God did not leave His people ‘lost’ under His judgement. He provided redemption for those who believed what He said.
We are told, “For in him we live, and move, and have our being”-[Acts 17:27]. This means that the only kind of interaction God can have with the creation is that of personal relationship and personal action. There is no room for impersonal mysticism. God is totally personal, and the only relationship He has with men is personal. God communicates with men by means of language (word) and actions (deeds).
Now, in regard to the eternal Law of God, this could be something that could either be rightly related to Him, or wrongly related. We see this in common life. We can rightly relate to our friends, or we can make enemies of them by wrongly relating to them. We can rightly relate to the creation by shepherding it properly, or we can relate to it wrongly by polluting and destroying it. We can rightly relate to God by believing and agreeing with God in our actions, or we can wrongly relate with God by being adversaries to God. Thus the Christian worldview is exhaustingly relational in character. We call this relationship by the Biblical word “covenant” or “covenant relationship”.
What does this mean for the so-called “problem of evil”? Evil is not a substance but rather a wrong relationship with God. “Evil” and “satan”, in the moral sense, are just other words connected with sin which is Law transgression. Sin makes a person an adversary to God. But “Satan” is a word preferred by pagans and religionists since it seems to connote personality and thus moves responsibility away from human accountability. The word “satan” is conveniently used to disguise the corruption of the human heart. The question is often asked, “How could a good God permit evil to exist?” The answer is, “Evil does not exist as a singular identity”. Evil is the consequence of wrong choices and bad deeds. The consequence is always condemnation.
John 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
From this we see again exactly what the source of evil is.
Again it is not “Satan”!
In fact, the possibility of “evil” or sin is implicit in the very act of creation itself. God set the rules and gave man free choice, God established the possibility that man as captain of creation might choose to become wrongly related to Him; man might choose to break the covenant and rebel against the Covenant. In the Covenant sense this applies only to Israel, although the laws of God apply to every person on earth-[e.g. the laws of science].
The Israel Man was not confronted with a choice between God and “Satan” as two separate entities. Rather, he was confronted with a choice whether to relate to God rightly (faithful obedience) or wrongly (faithless rebellion). We know which choice Israel made, and the consequence.
When we read in Isaiah 54:16 of God saying “I have created the waster to destroy”; this sounds as if “the waster” is a personality, but the “waster” is what God caused to take effect as a pledge or consequence for making a wrong choice. The word “created” is bara’ as in Genesis One.
REDEMPTION
The purpose of redemption was not to rescue man from an evil external influence. Nor was it to defeat “evil.” Rather, the purpose of redemption is to restore man to a right relationship with God, to remove Israel from God’s covenant wrath and restore him to God’s covenant blessings. “For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil” [i.e. adversary works and God’s wrath-1 John 3:8].
When Christian Israelites do not keep this matter firmly in mind, they fall into one of two errors. The first is to view man’s problem as “Satan,” and God’s work as rescuing man from
“Satan.” The second is a more subtle error. It is to view “evil” as “non-being” and an illusion, and to say that redemption comes when people realise that “evil” does not exist. This is the viewpoint of Judaism, Eastern Mysticism and of Christian Science. While it is true that “evil” does not exist as a “being”, the “problem of evil”, or what that “problem” is, is still very real. Man exists, and so does God. When Man is estranged from God, Man must come to grips with his rebellion and seek salvation in the Person and work of Jesus Christ. There is no salvation in ignoring the issue! The Bible presents “salvation” as being a present deliverance in this life, not “heaven” at our death as churches teach. Yes, we are told that God creates [brings about] evil as a consequence of disobedience. Again, God does it, not “Satan“.
What we describe as being “evil” is the manifestation of estrangement from God. Anything in this estrangement position is an adversary to God. This adversary position is what the Bible terms “satan”. This illustrates the Biblical use of the word “satan”. We are told in the blessings and curses under the law in Deut.28, that obedience and disobedience would each have a different eternal consequence.
Psalm 119:160 Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.
OCCULT MANIFESTATIONS.
People who are deliberate adversaries to God manifest mental states which cause them to have a whole range of occult manifestations. These mental states lead on to what the Bible terms “enchanters”, “charmers”, and involves “witches”, “wizards” and “necromancers” [familiar spirits-Deut.8:11], and “astrologers”; things which God terms “abominations”. God says, “I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways”.
Romans 1:24-25 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
Note that God “gives to every man” and “gave them up”, not “Satan”.
The occult is a reality. When we begin to take a close look at the occult, it becomes necessary to define terms. There is a great difference between cults and the occult. The term cult refers to a group of people polarised around one individual who is often a magnetic personality. This individual has his or her own understanding of truth, who God is, man’s relationship to God, the existence of heaven and hell, as well as a number of other issues of faith. In most cases such individuals incorporate some degree of biblical truth into their teachings in order to gain a certain amount of credibility in order to deceive the unwary.
From dictionary definitions, the term occult means “hidden” or those things or teachings that are “unknown” “covered over” or “secret“. So, the occult is the seeking after knowledge of unknown information, knowledge that is gained beyond normal human experiences. Therefore, knowledge is said to be received by some supernatural involvement or connection. This they call “Satan” with a capitalised “S”. Satanists admit or insist that their god is “satan”, that is, they have become total adversaries to God.
Satanism challenges the biblical teaching regarding man’s relationship to others. Each of God’s people are to esteem others better than themselves, and are to be team players. In 1 Corinthians we read about God’s people being a part of the body of Christ, whereas Satanism esteems the “self” over others.
Young Satanists believe that the strong will rule with what they see as “Satan”. Once they are sufficiently involved, they often make a pact with the supposed Satan. They commit themselves to a future date when they will take their own lives by suicide. They believe that if
they submit themselves to Satan in death, they will come back in another life as a stronger being and rule with him forever. This reincarnation idea is the nature of deception from hearts that are “deceitful above all things”.
Power has become an obsession with young Satanists. It is sought after on the physical, mental, and spiritual levels. According to one former occultist, the greatest lure into the occult is “power” and “knowledge.” Not just corporate power but personal power. Gaining knowledge that others do not possess is another aspect of the occult. When individuals have more knowledge it affords them a degree of power over those who do not have access to that knowledge. Satanism leads one into bondage through mind control and fear, whereas Christianity allows the individual the freedom of choice to escape that bondage through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.
THE CASTING OUT OF “DEVILS”.
In dealing with the subject of “Satan” we have words which appear to be associated with that word, such as “unclean spirits” and “devils”. These have to be touched upon, but these are not the prime subject of this paper, and so will not be enlarged upon.
We witness in the Gospels the parade of ailments Jesus cast out of people. These ailments were curses. People were healed when their curse was removed. This does not mean that these ailments have a leader called “satan” in the way popular religion is wont to say. What it means is that there is a parade of consequences of wrong belief, although this is not necessarily found in those personally healed. We know that the sin of Achan affected a whole nation-[Joshua 7] – although this sin may have reference only to the “Babylonian garment” and what that actually was.
Literal translations of “devil” are “spoiler”, “hairy”, “false accuser”, or “slanderer”. The phrase “the devil” is not found in the Old Testament. We see the plural word ‘devils’, twice meaning “spoiler” or “destroyer”, and twice again meaning “hairy” or “shaggy”. Otherwise it is translated as “goat”, “kid” or “hairy” 54 times.
In the New Testament “the devil” is also translated “accuser”, “false accuser” and “slanderer”. “The slanderer” is the word used which tells us that Jesus was, “tempted of the devil”, and as “satan which deceiveth the whole world”. The other 78 renditions of “devil” or “devils” are from a word which means, “to distribute fortunes”, or “one who disburses or dispenses riches”. The Greek daimonion [Strong 1140] is a derivative of diamon [Strong 1142] is used in James 3:15 as “devilish” which clearly shows that it is an earthly heart-desire for mammon, or wealth, which is “devilish”. Scripture does not teach the popular “Satan” doctrine”. Nowhere in Scripture is there basis to regard “Satan” as a supernatural being.
“UNCLEAN” SPIRITS
Just as spirit means ‘breath,” so does “unclean spirit” signify “foul breath”, which are words in opposition to those of God. The casting out of “unclean spirits” is symbolic of the removal of belief in false doctrines which opinions ‘tear’ or torment the person who clings to them. It is false doctrine that drives men mad, as opposed to the peace which acting upon God’s Word brings. This “madness” can be sensed; it “entered into” swine and drove them into the sea.
The fact that Legion and others were “possessed’ (owned) by the deceitful principles of antichrist beliefs indicates the power of counterfeit words to bring us into submission to men who are “adversaries” in high places rather than to God. These “unclean spirits” include men in high authority in the earth, and our war is against them. That which defiles is that which comes out of the mouth of man, not of “satan”. As Jesus confirms:
Mark 7:20 And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man.
Only by hearing (understanding) His Word can we be rid of these erroneous beliefs which we have been taught, and of the effect these have on us. Only then can we have what the Bible calls a “sound mind” or “the mind of Christ”.
In the symbolism of the unclean spirits’ speech, we see that these false doctrines debate with God Himself as to the truth of His Word, just as today those who are in error resist His Truth. We can see this in the following verses.
Zechariah 13:2 And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, that I will cut off the names of the idols out of the land, and they shall no more be remembered: and also I will cause the prophets and the unclean spirit to pass out of the land.
Matthew 10:1 And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.
Mark 5:2 And when he was come out of the ship, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit.
Luke 9:42 And as he was yet a coming, the devil threw him down, and tare him. And Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, and healed the child, and delivered him again to his father.
Revelation 16:13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.
Obviously here we have good examples of symbols in vision form, having not happened physically. There were no literal frogs or dragons, were there?
Clothing a symbol with a personality is where the churches and tradition manufacture a person they regard as an identity they call “Satan”.
This is what they have done with the word “Lucifer”. Again, like the word “Satan”, it is not a proper name. The word simply has not been translated in the KJV. Many other translations use words like “day star”, “shining one”, “star of the morning”, etc. Isaiah 14 is symbolic of the restoration of Israel and the fall of Babylon, the adversary city which had risen as if it were a “day star”.
When Jesus said in Luke 10:18, “I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven” He was talking about adversary deception falling before the disciples. “Fall” = pipto = “to descend from an erect to a prostrate position”. What appeared to be the light of a lamp (astrape = lightening) could not stand before the disciples and had to bow down.
“EVIL” SPIRITS.
Through the Old Testament, as mentioned, there is no mention of “devils”, but there is of evil spirits. Note well: These are sent by God, not “Satan”. It is about an attitude.
Judges 9:23 Then GOD SENT an evil spirit between Abimelech and the men of Shechem; and the men of Shechem dealt treacherously with Abimelech:
1 Samuel 16:14 But the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and an evil spirit FROM THE LORD troubled him.
1 Samuel 18:10 And it came to pass on the morrow, that the evil spirit FROM GOD came upon Saul, and he prophesied in the midst of the house: and David played with his hand, as at other times: and there was a javelin in Saul’s hand.
1Samuel 19:9 And the evil spirit FROM THE LORD was upon Saul, as he sat in his house with his javelin in his hand: and David played with his hand.
Ezekiel 14:9 And if the prophet be deceived when he hath spoken a thing, I THE LORD have deceived that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand upon him, and will destroy him from the midst of my people Israel.
WITCHCRAFT.
The multiple forms of witchcraft are declared by the Bible as being contrary to God’s Word and will, and they are specifically defined as rebellion against God.
Deut. 18:10-12 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.
1 Sam 15:22-23 And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.
Nahum 3:4-5 Because of the multitude of the whoredoms of the wellfavoured harlot, the mistress of witchcrafts, that selleth nations through her whoredoms, and families through her witchcrafts. Behold, I am against thee, saith the LORD of hosts; and I will discover thy skirts upon thy face, and I will shew the nations thy nakedness, and the kingdoms thy shame.
Believing in lying wonders is against the Kingdom of God since acting upon these influences defiles people and the Kingdom. The word “witch” comes from the concept, “to twist”, “to turn”, and “to rebel” having a differing set laws which are man-made.
NB. Even religious persons in “Christian” churches who claim the Ten Commandments, the Statutes and Judgements of the Law of God’s Kingdom no longer apply to the redeemed, likewise are in the witch category because they keep these things covered up and thus are in darkness.
Quoting Spurgeon again, “The heart is like a dark cellar, full of lizards, cockroaches, beetles, and all kinds of reptiles, which in the dark we do not see. But the Law takes down the shutters and lets in the light, and we see the evil”.
SORCERERS.
The sorcerer, like the magician, deceives people by trickery, convincing them that the illusion produced is reality. By diverting the attention of God’s people, he succeeds in luring them from God’s Word to turn them from the faith.
Isaiah 47:9 But these two things shall come to thee in a moment in one day, the loss of children, and widowhood: they shall come upon thee in their perfection for the multitude of thy SORCERIES, and for the great abundance of thine enchantments.
Acts 13:6-8 And when they had gone through the isle unto Paphos, they found a certain SORCERER, a false prophet, a Jew, whose name was Barjesus: Which was with the deputy of the country, Sergius Paulus, a prudent man; who called for Barnabas and Saul, and desired to hear the word of God. But Elymas the SORCERER (for so is his name by interpretation) withstood them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith.
Another means of creating illusions is by the use of drugs.
Although music, instruments and clapping are Scriptural, their use in worship is the spontaneous product of what arises from a clean heart. When these things are used in order to arouse emotions in people without cleansed hearts, particularly in mass meetings, people who claim to “feel the presence” in such meetings may be feeling the product of sorcery.
Churches can thus be involved in sorcery to create a false sense of security or acceptance by God, that has little to do with repentance or keeping what the New Testament calls “The Commandments of God”.
RACIAL ADVERSARIES [SATANS].
We can read that people can be perverted sufficiently for them to form a habit of doing evil. This is the purpose and habit of the Jews. In Matt. 3:7, 12:34, 23.33 and in Luke 3:7, Jesus and John the Baptist say that the Jews are “a generation [a descendency] of vipers”. Devilry is always manifested in these descendants of Esau, known as the serpent race. So opposition to God is manifest in the Jews who are of this line.
Through racial intermarriage, the descendants of Esau [Edom] became mixed with those who descended from Cain. Hence Jesus could say “The Jews” descended from Cain, and that the Jews’ originating father was symbolised as “the devil”. Their fleshly nature which is their lawgiver is always an adversary or a “satan”. Evil can be incarnated in races being “planted by the devil”, that is, they are born to be adversaries. This symbolises their origin. As Paul says, who are we to argue why the Potter makes different peoples. God does make differing vessels for differing purposes -[Rom. 9:21] – even if the ‘Church of Everyone’ denies this.
The word “devil(s)” has also been translated as “hairy”, “goat”, “spoiler”, and “slanderer”, the first two connecting with what Esau is, and the second two with what Esau does. Remembering that Esau’s descendants [Edom] is symbolised by a goat, note that the Jewish Encyclopaedia says, “The modern Jew is Edom”, that is, their leadership descends from Esau and not from Isaac. Through Scripture we are told, “In Isaac shall thy seed be called”-[Gen. 21:12, Romans 9:7 and Hebrews 11.18]. These Jews therefore cannot be Israelites. God hated Esau before Esau was born, and He does so for all generations-[Malachi 1]. Now we can see how “hairy” fits in. Remember how Esau was born hairy? A conclusion might be reached that the Edomite Jews are devils!
We have spoken about, “Beelzebub, the prince of the demons” as being an idea of Judaism, but we have to consider the fact that Judaism has a Prince, or King of the Jews who reigns over “The Learned Elders of Zion”, with various ranking Cahilla [secondary leaders] members below them. Does this in effect make their Prince equivalent to a “Prince of Devils”?
Did not Jesus say of the Jews, “You are of your father the devil”? Yet most churches will not accept this statement, and instead claim the phrase “The Jews”, who came from Esau rather than Isaac, represents Israel. Such churches are adversaries or “satans”.
THE TEMPTATION OF JESUS.
Matthew 4:1-11 Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred. And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.
In these verses we see the intimate connection between the words “Satan” and the “devil”. One has to wonder why the translators put a capital “S” in “Satan” with no capital “d” in “devil”. In the account of the “Gadarene demonic” in Mark chapter five, there are some peculiar differences in the use of the singular and the plural regarding “unclean spirit(s)” and “devil(s)”. There must be some difference the translators could not reconcile with their doctrinal understanding.
Where we read, “the devil ‘AND’ Satan” it is not the devil ‘OR’ Satan”, is it? If we think this through we can see the doctrinal nature of the translators’ conflict. In this paper we are concerned primarily with the word “Satan”. “Devils” and “unclean spirits” can be dealt with in another paper, since they are different subjects.
Perhaps it was the Edomite Jews [devils] in the wilderness who tempted Jesus to become an adversary, but Jesus was able to say, “get thee hence satan”. But yes, Jesus was tempted by the same temptation we have, namely to disbelieve the Word of God, yet He never yielded to it, or against it as many churches do.
And speaking of Jesus we read again about Him being tempted:
Hebrews 4:15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
The lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes and the pride of life are part of the kosmos or world of what is symbolised by “the devil”. The fact of temptation is a reality, but we are to walk “as He walked”.
1 John 2:15-17 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
1 John 2:3-6 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
Tough and real words these are, but they are not popular church doctrine that infers that Jesus did all the “walking” (and dying) on our behalf. As for “if we keep His commandments”, the churches reject this. They have invented the phrase “legalism” to try to get around this. True, law without love is “the letter” which kills, but did not Jesus say, “If ye love me, keep my commandments”? Jesus proved His son-ship by doing what He saw His Father doing. Keeping “My commandments” is the consequence of love to God. Paul said obedience was the proof, and:
Rom. 5:10 Much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life [zoe].
NOTE: Redemption is certainly not through the Law. The Law reveals the corruption of the fallen human heart and the need to repent from having broken God’s Laws. Then, as we walk in the light the Blood of Jesus Christ cleans us from all sin – and only then!
People become adversaries [“satans”] when they do not walk in son-ship. In symbolic form, when they yield to the fleshly evil heart, ‘devils’ “enter in” to people, i.e. there is a tangible effect. Many verses in the New Testament show that these “devils” [daimonion] relate to sickness, want of strength, weakness, inability to understand. Strongs 1142 points out that
“In the opinion of the Jews demons had entered, and so held possession of them as not only to afflict them with ills, but also to dethrone the reason and take its place themselves; accordingly the possessed were wont to express the mind and consciousness of the demons dwelling in them; and their cure was thought to require the expulsion of the demon”.
So we can see where from, and how, the Judeo-Christian churches have obtained their Babylonian ideas.
We read, “Then entered satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve”. But Judas already thought as an adversary, he came from that stock.
John 6:70 Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?
Here the word for “devil” is diabolos for which Strong gives, “prone to slander, slanderous, accusing falsely, a calumniator, false accuser, slanderer, or applied to a man opposing the cause of God”
When Jesus was dealing with the man possessed with the devil in Mark 5:15, we read of the consequence:
Mark 5:15 And they come to Jesus, and see him that was possessed with the devil, and had the legion, sitting, and clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid.
The consequence was a sound mind in that person!
OUR TEMPTATION.
2 John 7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.
In this verse the word “confess” is homologeo which comes from homo = “the same” and logos = “the Word”. Few churches will use “confess” this way. Our temptation is to not agree with God. We are tempted to think that God is not sovereign; that there is another authority called “satan”. In other words, believing in the existence of “Satan” is a denial of God’s absolute sovereignty. We must totally erase every concept of a figure with horns, cloven hoofs, a tail and a pitch-fork, or anything else at all, as interpreted by traditional religion. This concept is the Judeo-Talmudic version about “Beelzebub, the prince of the demons”, and this includes the Eastern Serpent system or religion and every equivalent.
THE SERPENT OF GENESIS 3.
This account is literal history emphasised by the use of figures of speech. As an example, when the Tribe of Dan is called a serpent in Genesis 49:17, we are not to believe that this Tribe had all been reduced to snakes. King Herod is referred to by Jesus as a fox and so on. When doctrine is called “leaven” we know that something greater is implied. The same applies to the “King of Tyre” in Ezekiel 28,11-19.
So when we take something figurative and make it something literal we are making a mistake.
Today we have a saying about “a bright idea” and Nachash or “Serpent” means “bright” or “shining”. When we “say” wrong things in our hearts that may likewise seem like “bright” ideas to us, may be an adversaries or “satans” to God.
OTHER ISSUES.
Some may want to raise the following issues:
There are expressions in Scripture we have to consider, such as “Lucifer”, “the Devil”, “the Anti-Christ”, “Abaddon”, “Apollyon”, “The Dragon” and “That Old Serpent”, which appear from tradition to be personalities, or parts of the one personality.
1. Revelation 9:11 And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.
2. Revelation 20:1-3 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon [drakon], that old serpent [ophis], which is the Devil, [diabolos] and Satan [satanas], and bound him a thousand years, And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
When we remember that the Book of the Revelation is a book of symbols, it is easier to follow. “Abaddon” and “Apollyon” are words indicating destruction.
-to cause to stray, to lead astray, lead aside from the right way.
-to go astray, wander, roam about.
-to lead away from the truth, to lead into error, to deceive.
-to be led into error and sin.
-to be led aside from the path of virtue, to go astray,
-to sever or fall away from the truth.
All of these words, “drakon”, “ophis”, “diabolos” and “satanas” which are described as “him”, are aspects of the same thing. Jesus and the Apostles used words that were used and could be understood by the culture and common usage of the day. They understood the peoples’ mindsets.
“Power” appears to be expressed as a reality as we can see in the expressions:
“The power of darkness” -Luke 22:53. -Col. 1:13.
“The Prince of the power of the air” -Eph. 2:2.
“Him that hath the power of death, that is, the devil” -Heb 2:14.
When we look at this carefully, we see that out of the hearts of those who are adversaries to God’s laws proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies, as Jesus tells us. These empower rulers, governments and the establishment to have sway over people. It is called “darkness” because mans’ laws are not a light – not even a candle.
The following are similar symbols:
“The Prince of this world” -John 12:31. -John 14:30. -John and 16:11.
“The accuser of the brethren” -Rev. 13:12.
“The beast and his kingdom” -Rev 16:10.
This connects with:
Eph. 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
The churches say we could not wrestle against something that is non-existent. They create in their minds a being they call “Satan” to fight against. But in reality what we are fighting are ideas and all those evils that proceed from the heart of man expressed through leaders. “Spiritual” = pneumatikos [Strong 4152] relates to the human spirit, or rational soul, and “wickedness” relates to evil purposes and desires. High as in “high places” is used often in the Old Testament to indicate an elevated position. It symbolises the seat of authority or governments. Churches refuse to fight this good fight of faith against “high places”. Instead they support and encourage support for governments in these high places.
FEW WILL AGREE WITH GOD TODAY.
King David had adversaries. Look at the wealth of detail in the verses below concerning the genetic line from Esau.
Psalm. 109.6-13 They compassed me about also with words of hatred; and fought against me without a cause. For my love they are my adversaries: but I give myself unto prayer. And they have rewarded me evil for good, and hatred for my love.
Set thou a wicked man over him: and let Satan [i.e. an adversary] stand at his right hand. When he shall be judged, let him be condemned: and let his prayer become sin. Let his days be few; and let another take his office. Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow. Let his children be continually vagabonds, and beg: let them seek their bread also out of their desolate places. Let the extortioner catch all that he hath; and let the strangers spoil his labour. Let there be none to extend mercy unto him: neither let there be any to favour his fatherless children. Let his posterity be cut off; and in the generation following let their name be blotted out. Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered with the LORD; and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out.
No denomination would pray like this today. Why not? Because it does not fit in with their “love everyone” doctrine. Instead they try to convert to their doctrine those whom Jesus says cannot hear compassing land and sea, and what they produce are two-fold more children of hell as themselves! -[Matt. 23:15].
Where they make a mistake is talking about “confessing Christ” and “going forward” in an occult way as if this was ritualistic. As already pointed out, the word “confess” is homologeo which comes from homo = “the same” and logos = “the Word”. It is when we cease to speak anything different from what God says, we cease to be adversaries. If most denominations do not speak the same word as God, they must be adversaries or “satans”.
Nothing is likely to change in the churches if they persist in using Bibles which are not translations. The NIV is not a translation. It is claimed to be a “dynamic equivalent”, and this is written in such a way as to perpetuate dualism, or the supposed tug-of-war between God and “satan”, as well as other traditions that are written into it. The latest popular presentation [deception] advertised is the video “The Visual Bible” which is claimed to be “Word-for-word from the NIV”; that it is “The word – the whole Word – and nothing but the Word”. Really? Never!
Modern versions and paraphrases are couched in such a way as to follow New Age thinking and traditional Babylonian doctrines. Even in the KJV, not only has the capital “S” in “Satan” been maintained, but those Bibles with footnotes follow these patterns. Recourse to Bible Dictionaries and such will not help our understanding when the given meanings are based upon usage and tradition. Such may perpetuate error. Following church traditions still renders the Word of God of no effect.
Essentially in practice the churches deny what Jesus points out in Matthew 15:19 “For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies”, although the churches may not recognise what they are doing and the implications of doing it.
In blaming “Satan” with a capital “S” they seek to justify themselves before men.
Luke 16:15 Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.
Here again Jesus brings the matter back to the “heart”. This is the heart of the matter!

What the Word says about Tribulations in the Latter Days
Posted by Lynn on July 29, 2008
Deu 4:30 When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, even in the latter days, if thou turn to YHWH thy Elohim, …………………………………………..;
Here is the implication that tribulations are not only for the latter days but before the latter days as well.
Jdg 10:14 Go and cry unto the gods which ye have chosen; let them deliver you in the time of your tribulation.
Mat 13:21 Yet hath he not root in himself, but endureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.
Mat 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
Mat 24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.
Joh 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
Act 14:22 Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of G-d.
Rom 2:9 Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;
Rom 5:3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
Rom 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Messiah? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
Rom 12:12 Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;
2Co 1:4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of G-d.
2Co 7:4 Great is my boldness of speech toward you, great is my glorying of you: I am filled with comfort, I am exceeding joyful in all our tribulation.
1Th 3:4 For verily, when we were with you, we told you before that we should suffer tribulation; even as it came to pass, and ye know.
2Th 1:6 Seeing it is a righteous thing with G-d to recompense (repay or return in kind) tribulation to them that trouble you;
Rev 1:9 I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Yeshua Messiah, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of G-d, and for the testimony of Yeshua Messiah.
Rev 2:9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.
Rev 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days; be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
Rev 7:14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
We can clearly see by these scriptures that we will not be spared great tribulation by being removed by any rapture. Those that believe they will be spared have not the truth and are selfish. We suffer great tribulation for the sake of the gospel of TRUTH. Tribulations bring forth patience. Those of us suffering for the truth at the hands of those rejecting truth are the ones suffering great tribulations unlike ever been seen or ever will be and it will get worse by we will be made whole in the end.
We are suffering the time of Jacobs Troubles now. One by one Israel is waking up. She is drawing closer to Our Heavenly Father and learning His truth and suffering for it yet rejoicing in her tribulations. All the signs are present including the wrath of Yahweh in which we call Global Warming. For HE has said He will destroy those that destroy earth.
We have to rightly divide truth for answers and we have to read and study for ourselves and not take for granted knowledge and rely on someone else for it. Yahweh is the one that holds truth and only He can give it to us. We cannot say we serve Yahweh when we are full of doctrines of devils or should I say, Demon Possessed! We need to stop and study and see that the seventy weeks of Daniel should have never been applied to the latter times as it is the foretelling of the first coming of Yeshua and is not about the antichrist.
We have to stop thinking our tribulations are financial struggles, hunger and oppression alone. These are poverty and are of the flesh they have nothing to do with the “GOOD NEWS”. These are fleshly matters. When we share truth, we will suffer in this life GREAT tribulations. The days of Great tribulation started with the apostles and disciples and those sharing and speaking truth today are still suffering tribulations with those that hear them. Ironically this subject has cause me tribulations and is the subject concerning Great tribulations.
Most go with popular interpretations of what these GREAT tribulations are and my motto is, “If the majority rules, I go with the minority”. Too many times I have believed these tribulations to be things caused by Governments such as hunger and oppression etc… But why do we face even those? FOR THE WORD AND TRUTH THAT YAHWEH BECAME FLESH AND DIED FOR US TO LIVE! How many will accept that Yahweh physically became flesh and died then resurrected HIMSELF without calling us blasphemers? When we call Him Yeshua we are speaking of him as Father, Creator, Husband, Savior, Comforter, Truth, faithful, Son, Ruach etc…HE IS LOVE AND BASED ON LOVE HE IS OUR SALVATION hence the name Yeshua…YAHWEH is salvation. We suffer for truth. Yeah yeah yeah… the rotten things will happen and we probably will suffer physically in the world because of our leaders but we suffer spiritually even with those claiming to know truth, for the truth.
These are the Great tribulations we are told about are Jacobs troubles and we are going through them now.
Mat 13:21 Yet hath he not root in himself, but endureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.
Joh 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

The Seal of YHWH and the Mark of the Beast
Posted by Lynn on July 27, 2008
The Seal of YHWH and the Mark of the Beast
Some have interpreted the mark of the beast as an actual tattoo of some sort or perhaps a microchip injected into the hand or the forehead. Others think it might be connected to a credit card, national health card or bar code. However has anyone taken the time in these assumptions to see if this is biblical or not? There is a seal of YHWH and a mark of the beast which identifies who you belong to. This is a mark/seal that can be seen but not though eyes like a tattoo or a chip but through a person’s lifestyle and how they act and believe.
The Seal of YHWH
These verses refer to the seal of YHWH.
John 6:27 Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.
2 Cor 1:22 Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.
Eph 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
Eph 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
Please notice that the previous verses indicate a figurative seal, not a physical seal. The following verses would seem to be a physical seal of some kind on the forehead.
In Revelations it also talks of the sealed of YHWH and it is a seal that is known from above. Do not hurt them with the seal of YHWH for example.
The seal of God is in His law, so clearly this is a symbolic seal, not a literal one.
Deu 6:6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:
Deu 6:7 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
Deu 6:8 And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes.
Deu 11:18 Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes.
Deu 11:19 And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
Put these words to heart and they shall be a seal of knowledge in your mind and a sign of action to your hand.
Exo 13:9 And it shall be for a sign unto thee upon thine hand, and for a memorial between thine eyes, that the LORD’s law may be in thy mouth: for with a strong hand hath the LORD brought thee out of Egypt.
Exo 31:13 Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you
Exo 31:17 It is a sign between me and the children of Israel forever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.
YHWH’s laws should be in our minds and our actions should show it. A sign between YHWH and those with His seal is the keeping of the Sabbath.
So if YHWH’s seal is not physical lets see if the enemies is….
The Mark of the Beast
Now here are verses that refer to the mark of the beast:
Rev 14:11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who WORSHIP THE BEAST and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
Rev 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.Rev 15:2 And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.
It appears that our worship matters, I am not here to talk about days of the week but the heart of belief and knowledge to how your act as you worship. What you believe and how your actions reflect whether you believe false fairy tales or TRUTH. Believe me it does show. Most that get this far start talking about the difference between Sunday worship and Saturday worship and that’s missing the point. Its not the day you keep it, its the heart and mind and hand of how you worship in it. Your beliefs guide your hands to act and by your actions you are known….

Secret Rapture Fact or Fallacy?
Posted by Lynn on July 26, 2008
http://www.secret-rapture.com/
Introduction
Is there really a Secret Rapture with a second chance of salvation? Regardless of the topic when it is associated with salvation, Satan has deceptions in every area in an attempt to steal as many people as possible from God’s kingdom. It is a grave error to underestimate the enemy. It does not matter how many people believe a lie, it will never make it truth. Mark Twain once said, “A lie can travel halfway around the world, while truth puts on its shoes.” The only way to avoid the enemy’s deception and find truth is to study the scriptures diligently. Multitudes of people have been exposed to this “dispensationalist” or “futurist” interpretation of prophecy and have been utterly confused. So what is the real truth about this so-called secret rapture?
What is the Secret rapture theory?
According to those teaching the secret rapture theory, the coming of Jesus will be in two separate stages. The first will be a secret rapture of the Church at the beginning of a seven year tribulation period followed by a glorious, triumphant return of Christ to the Earth accompanied by the Church at the end of the seven year period. They believe that during this seven year period the Antichrist is going to come into power and God will select and seal 144,000 literal Jews who will take the Gospel to the whole world converting immeasurable souls to Christ. They also believe the battle of Armageddon is a literal national war against literal Israel, which occurs near the end of the seven years and is brought to a halt by Christ’s return with His Church. Then literal Israel accepts the Lord as the Messiah and enters with Him as His covenant people into the 1,000 year (millennial) reign on earth known as the Kingdom Age. Christ will rule directly over the earth from the throne of David in Jerusalem, where the typical temple services function again. Those who ultimately reject Christ’s rule are eventually judged and destroyed at the end of the Millennium. The new believers will then receive immortality and eternity will begin.
However, the Bible nowhere speaks of these two separate comings and the word “rapture” is also an invention of theologians and occurs nowhere in the Bible. The deception does not stop there, Christians also debate whether we will be taken before the tribulation or in the middle of the seven years or at the completion of the seven year tribulation. These are called pre-tribulation, mid-tribulation and post tribulation. Now for the most amazing part of these views in regards to the seven year tribulation period; are you ready for this? It was manufactured by a Jesuit Priest who was commissioned to come up with this false interpretation of Bible Prophecy. This raises many questions, such as why was this done and how could so many be drawn into this lie. I hope you will read on as we cover all aspects of this topic and reveal the Bible truth.
Does the Bible teach there is a Secret Rapture?
This is a brief point by point account of the order of events according to Scripture; there is Christ’s second coming, the resurrection, the catching up of the saints to meet Jesus in the air which all take place at the same time and at the end of the world. This is why Jesus said in Matthew 28:20 “…and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.” Why would Jesus promise to be with the church until the end of the world if He intended to come seven years before the end to take them out of the world? The promise would then have no meaning.
This false doctrine on the secret rapture is contradictory to the words of Jesus in Matthew 13 when He said the wheat and tares would grow together until the “end of the world” and then would be separated. According to this dual coming secret rapture theory, both groups would not grow together until the end of the world. The righteous would be separated from the wicked seven years before the end. And what about the promise of the resurrection? Christ said, concerning the righteous, John 6:40 “…and I will raise him up at the last day.” No one denies that this means the last day of the world. Paul declares the saints are caught up to meet the Lord at the “same time” the dead in Christ are raised. He says, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” Did you note that Jesus called this resurrection the “last day?” But how could it be the “last day” if this gathering of the saints takes place seven years before the end of the world? And how could the “last trump” (see 1 Corinthians 15:52 below) sound if it really wasn’t the very last moment of time? Imagine the graves opening and the righteous rising and no one knowing that it had occurred? Consider also the added testimony from God’s Word;
Matthew 24:27 “For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”
Matthew 24:30 “And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.”
Matthew 24:31 “And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.” (This is clearly the time when Christ comes to gather His saints.)
1 Corinthians 15:52 “In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”
Revelation 1:7 “Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.”
Revelation 6:16-17 “And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: 17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?”
There is no understood scripture that says the second coming of Christ to gather His saints will be a secret rapture. All these verses show it will be a very loud and very visible event that every eye shall see. There is nothing secret about any aspect of His coming. Those believing in the secret rapture sometimes quote Matthew 24:40-41 out of context. The entire passage reads;
Matthew 24:37-41 “But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, 39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.”
Jesus is demonstrating the parallels between the days of Noah and the second coming of Christ. The eight that entered Noah’s Ark were saved and those that scoffed perished as the flood “took them all away.” Many have been taught that the ones taken are the ones saved but note it is actually the ones taken that are destroyed. There was no second chance. Jesus said and “so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.” The last verse of this chapter tells us what will happen to those who are taken to destruction. Matthew 24:51 “And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”
Those believing in the secret rapture also quote Jesus in saying He will come as a thief in the night, meaning it will be a secret rapture. Jesus said in Matthew 24:43-44 “But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. 44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.” Jesus is not talking about coming secretly but coming unexpectedly when we least expect Him and so the wicked will be taken by surprise. This is why Jesus tells us to be ready as we know not the hour of His return. If we are not right with Christ and living wicked lives, when He returns we will be left behind.
1 Thessalonians 5:2 is also quoted which reads, “For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.” Same message as before be ready for Christ’s unexpected return. And what happens after His return? 1 Thessalonians 5:3 “For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.” How secret is sudden destruction? Those that are left after Jesus’ return encounter “sudden destruction.” Again, just like in the days of Noah.
These two “thief texts” are also used to teach a secret rapture. Revelation 3:3 “Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.” Revelation 16:15 “Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.” In both these instances just quoted, the secrecy is also in connection with the timing not the nature of the event, and is exactly the same as the other “thief texts.” Notice the phrase in chapter 3:3 which says “hold fast, and repent” and the last part of verse 15 which says “lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.”
This is once again a warning to be not caught living in sin, because we know not the hour which Jesus will return. He will come unexpectedly when you least expect it as does a thief. It would be no good for the thief if you knew when he was coming as you would be ready for him and he could not rob you. In the same way we need to be ready and living in righteousness now and not just when we think Jesus is coming or we will be “caught naked and our shame seen.” Those who love and obey Jesus will be ready for His return. This is the meaning of the phrase “to come as a thief” that is used several times in the Bible to warn us so we will not be left behind.
And still one more. 2 Peter 3:10 says “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.”
Again, absolutely nothing secret. To the contrary, it could not be more obvious. It states after Jesus comes unexpectedly as does a thief, “the heavens shall pass away with a great noise” and “the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth … shall be burned up.” So when Jesus returns the very next thing is the end i.e. the last day. If coming “as a thief” is a secret rapture which takes place seven years before the end of the world, how can the heavens and earth “pass away” as Peter describes it? Three of these “thief texts” are all followed by the same unmistakable catastrophic sudden destruction. Coming as a thief is unexpected, NOT a secret!
Will Christ’s second coming include a third coming?
Those who believe in a “secret rapture” say that the Greek word “parousia” refers to the secret “coming” of Jesus in His presence and that the Greek word “apokalupsis” refers to the visible glorious “coming” of Jesus in power seven years later. They also teach in middle of this seven year period, (3.5 years) the antichrist will reign. But “parousia” and “apokalupsis” are BOTH used to describe the second coming as we will soon show by its parallel in the “days of Noah.”
Paul uses the word “parousia” in the well known so called “rapture chapter” of 1 Thessalonians 4 when speaking of the coming of Christ and our gathering together unto Him. Paul then shows that this “parousia” will destroy the man of sin; the Antichrist. Paul says, “whom the Lord shall…destroy with the brightness of his coming [parousia].” 2 Thessalonians 2:8. These scriptures unmistakably describe the coming [parousia] of Christ as taking place after the reign of the man of sin, not as a secret rapture before the Antichrist’s reign begins.
The other Greek word “apokalupsis” [revelation] is used in a way that indicates it is not a separate second coming from the time the believers are gathered up. Peter said in 1 Peter 1:13 to “… be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation [apokalupsis] of Jesus Christ;” Why would Christians be exhorted to continue hoping to the end of the world for the grace brought through the revelation of Jesus Christ if their real hope was a secret rapture seven years before the revelation?
These following verses showing Matthew and Luke’s account of the same event prove beyond a shadow of a doubt, that the words “parousia” and “apokalupsis” do refer to the same event. In Matthew 24:37 we read, “But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming [parousia] of the Son of man be.” And the same account in Luke 17:26, 30; “As it was in the days of Noah…Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed [apokalupsis].”
This shows that the coming [parousia] of Christ and the revelation [apokalupsis] of Christ are the same event. There is absolutely no basis for placing seven years in between. This whole counterfeit secret rapture is built upon a constant repetition of words and ideas that have been repeated so often that millions have assumed that they must be biblically sound.
Where in the Bible is the Seven Year Tribulation period?
As there is so much secret rapture theology revolving around the seven year period, one would deduce that the Bible must speak frequently of this time period. There is in fact not one single scriptural reference which ties the seven years to the end of the world or the coming of Christ. Most secret rapture literature mention the seven year tribulation period without offering any Bible proof or explanation. One woman once asked me if I believed in the seven year tribulation period, which knowing the truth, I promptly replied no. I was then told I was wrong as the Holy Spirit had revealed this to her. I asked her where the scripture was to support this, of which she replied, “it is here in the Bible somewhere.” I am still waiting for her to give me the reference. Absolutely millions of people have assumed that it must be so well documented that no proof is needed. The fact is the absolute opposite is true. There just simply isn’t any evidence to give.
Where did the secret rapture and seven year tribulation theory originate?
In early 1830, a 15 year old Scottish Girl called Margaret McDonald had visions that included a Secret Rapture of believers before the appearance of the Antichrist. Edward Irving (1792-1834) who was her Scottish Presbyterian pastor and forerunner of the Charismatic and Pentecostal movements, attended prophecy conferences that began in Dublin Ireland also in 1830 at Powerscourt Castle where he promoted the doctrine of the Secret Rapture as per her vision.
John Nelson Darby (1800-1882) who was a minister of the Church of Ireland later became a member of the Plymouth Brethren and also promoted the Secret Rapture after attending the same Powerscourt Bible Prophecy meeting in 1830 where he learned of Margaret McDonald’s supposed vision. Darby modified her views and then taught them under his own name. He developed and organized “futurism” into a system of prophetic teaching called “dispensationalism” with the so-called secret rapture at its centre. He visited Margaret McDonald at her home in Port Glasgow, Scotland and then later visited America several times where this Secret Rapture theology starting gaining a large acceptance in the 1850s and 1860s.
John Nelson Darby who was largely responsible for introducing this new teaching on a large scale also greatly influenced Cyrus Ingerson Scofield (1843-1921) who also incorporated this false doctrine into the notes of his Scofield Reference Bible, first published by Oxford University Press in 1909. One million copies were printed by 1930, firmly establishing this Futurist theory into different denominations and Bible schools of the United States in the 20th Century.
Did this Secret Rapture theory originate with Margaret McDonald?
Historical evidence actually reveals it originated much earlier. Before and during the Protestant Reformation, the Reformers embraced the true “Historical” interpretation of the Bible where the antichrist was clearly seen as a system of apostasy and persecution rather than a single individual. John spoke of antichrist that “shall come” but he also added that “even now are there MANY antichrists” 1 John 2:18. So we know that there was not just one but many antichrists and that the antichrist system was operating when John was writing about 2000 years ago. The conclusion of those who studied these prophecies during the Reformation was that there was only one system that fit all the characteristics of who is the antichrist power which was the Papal system of the Roman Catholic Church. The following are the many identifiable characteristics:
- It will rise to be a great power after the fall of the pagan Roman Empire (after 476 A.D.)
- It will be a geographically small nation (a little horn). (Dan 7:8)
- It will rule over many people, nations, and tongues (it will be universal). (Rev 13:7)
- It will be headquartered in the city of seven hills, Rome.
- It will be a religio-political entity – a political city-state ruled by a priest-king.
- Its priest-king will make great and blasphemous claims. (Rev 13:1, 6)
- It will claim authority over all kings. (Rev 17:18)
- It will claim its power to change the holy times and laws of God as its mark of authority. (Dan 7:25)
- It will be an apostate church that makes the nations drink her cup of apostate doctrine. (Rev 14:8)
- It will be a “mother” harlot church, with apostate daughters coming from her. (Rev 17:5)
- It will be a persecuting power, killing the faithful saints of Jesus Christ as heretics. (Rev 13:7)
- It will hold power and authority for 1260 years following the fall of pagan Rome.
- It will suffer a deadly wound that will end 1260 years of dominance and persecution.
- It will be revived after the deadly wound, and all the world would wonder at its revival. (Rev 13:3)
No wonder the Roman Catholic Church was so opposed to the Bible being available for everyone to read for themselves. To control what they called heretical doctrine, the Catholic Church called for a special meeting known as the Fifth Lateran Council, (1512-1517) which forbade anyone to publish a book without prior censorship and also prohibited anyone from preaching on the subject of antichrist. The leaders of the Council and the Catholic Church also attempted to ban or burn all Bibles, heretical books, and the heretics that owned or preached from them.
The major characteristic identifying the antichrist power was this 1260 years of persecution of the “saints” which was fulfilled in the Catholic Church’s persecution of Christians throughout the dark ages beginning in 538 A.D. after the fall of the pagan Roman empire, and extending to 1798 (1260 years exactly), when the Pope was taken prisoner by Napoleons general Berthier and died. This was the deadly head wound. (Revelation 13:3) In order to divert attention away from the Roman Catholic Church as the antichrist power, a new interpretation would have to be found. This was done by rejecting the true “Historical” interpretation and accepting a false “Futurist” interpretation proposed by a Jesuit doctor of theology, Francisco Ribera (1537-1591).
In his book, entitled “In Sacrum Beati Ioannis Apostoli, & Evangelistiae Apocalypsin Commentarij”, he postulated that the 1260 day prophecy were not 1260 years but a literal 3 1/2 years, or 1260 actual days, and therefore none of the book of Revelation had any application to the Middle Ages or the Papacy. It applied to a future period just prior to the Second Coming of Christ; hence it was called “Futurism” or the “Futurist” interpretation. Manuel De Lacunza (1731-1801), a Jesuit priest from Chile, also advocated futurism in his manuscript entitled “La Venida del Mesias en Gloria y Magestad” (The Coming of the Messiah in Glory and Majesty). Writing under the assumed name of Juan Josafa (Rabbi) Ben-Ezra, Lacunza hoped to obscure the fact that he was a Roman Catholic, in order to give his book better acceptance in Protestantism.

This historicism chart illustrates the three schools of interpretation regarding antichrist. Ribera’s futurism puts the antichrist into a future three and one-half literal years. Alcazar’s preterism identifies the antichrist as Nero. Both put antichrist outside the Middle Ages and the reformation period identified by Protestant Historicists as antichrist’s reign of 1260 prophetic years. The truly amazing part of all this is that the Futurist theory dominates Protestant teaching today. That scenario is directly traceable back to the pen of the Jesuit Francisco Ribera who manufactured this theory for the sole purpose of diverting attention from the Papacy. In what could only be described as a stunning reversal, Protestants have over time actually become the Papacy’s greatest ally by spreading its Jesuit spawned propaganda. What irony that Protestants who originally broke away from what they clearly recognized to be the harlot antichrist led church of prophecy, now champion the Futurist interpretation from high profile ministries. Futurism has without doubt, been successful beyond the wildest dreams of its Jesuit authors. The same applies to the Preterist interpretation of Luis De Alcazar, although to a lesser degree. For very detailed information, see the origins of Futurism.
What scripture was manipulated to come up with the seven year tribulation?
Most Bible students are stunned to learn where the seven years came from. In Daniel 9:24-27 God gave a prophecy concerning the probation of Israel. Daniel 9:24 reads, “Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.”
God was going to allow Daniel’s people seventy weeks to end their rebellion against God and if they failed, Israel would be rejected as a nation. The seventy weeks are prophetic time and each day represents a literal year (Ezekiel 4:6 and Numbers 14:34). So the seventy weeks would actually be a literal 490 years after which the Israelites were no longer God’s people. The seventy prophetic weeks were to begin with the decree to restore and build Jerusalem.
Daniel 9:25 “Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.”
That well known date is 457 B.C., when Artaxerxes sent out the decree. (Ezra 7:13) From that date the Jews would have exactly 490 years to stop their rebellion towards God. The 490 year probation ended in A.D. 34 and the Jews ceased to be God’s chosen people. Daniel 9:25 says that the Messiah would be anointed after the total of sixty nine of those prophetic weeks had passed by. That would be 483 years from the decree date of 457 B.C. It takes no mathematician to figure the end of that prediction. It brings us to the year A.D. 27, the very year that Jesus was baptized by John and the Holy Spirit anointed Him for His ministry. Since “Messiah” means “Anointed One,” this can only be the fulfilment of Daniel’s prophecy that the Messiah would appear in A.D. 27. Seventy weeks were assigned to the Jewish probation but Christ appeared as the Messiah after sixty nine weeks. That leaves the final and seventieth week for Christ to minister before the Jews probation ended. What was to happen in the seventieth week?
Daniel 9:27 tells us, “And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease.”
The “midst of the week” would be three and a half prophetic days (or 3.5 literal years) from His baptism and according to the Bible, the ministry of Jesus lasted for exactly that, three and a half years. In the spring of A.D. 31 Jesus was crucified and the veil of the temple was rent (Matthew 27:51), signifying the end of sacrifices. By His death He caused the “sacrifice and the oblation to cease.” Another three and a half years would lead up to the end of the seventy weeks and the end of Jewish probation. During that three and a half years the disciples laboured mainly for the Jews but in A.D. 34 the seventy weeks ended; Stephen was stoned after his massive speech before the council in Acts chapter 7 and the gospel began to go to the Gentiles (Acts 8:4). The Jews had rejected the gospel message and were no longer God’s people just as Daniel had predicted. Now they could only be saved as individuals in exactly the same way as the Gentiles.
The seventy weeks or 490 years was the time God gave His chosen nation to end their rebellion where He would then forgive them for their transgressions. Notice how Jesus refers to this prophetic time period here in His conversation with Peter. Seventy times seven is of course 490.
Matthew 18:21 “Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? 22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.”
Now, to make the Jesuit manufactured prophecy fit its new interpretation, Daniel’s 70 Weeks prophecy of Daniel 9:24-27 which began in 457 B.C. with the decree to rebuild Jerusalem (Ezra 7:1-27) had to develop a “gap.” Arbitrarily the 70th week (7 days = 7 years) of Daniel’s prophecy is detached from its context and placed at the end of the age 2000 years later where it logically can no longer be the seventieth week. This “week” will according to its proponents constitute the “seven year tribulation period,” prior to which the Secret Rapture will occur.
This false and illogical “gap” theory states that all fulfilment of this prophecy is suspended until the Christian era is over. Then the last week of the 70 weeks prophecy becomes operative again constituting the seven year tribulation period. This false Jesuit manufactured theory teaches that the first sixty nine weeks of this seventy week prophecy (490 years) reached from 457 B.C. to the year 27 A.D. when Jesus began His ministry. The true “Historical” view teaches that the 70 weeks prophecy of Daniel 9 began in 457 B.C. and ended when Stephen was stoned to death in 34 A.D. It was at that time that the gospel went to the Gentiles and the Jewish people lost their place as those “Chosen” to spread God’s message to the world. They had also rejected Christ by calling for His crucifixion in the “middle of the week,” in 31 A.D. and then rejected Christ’s followers by stoning Stephen 3.5 years later at the end of the 70th week. (34 A.D.)
So we find this false rapturist theory gets the seven years tribulation by lifting that seventieth week of Daniel’s prophecy completely out of its context and shoving it far into the future where it is logically no longer the seventieth week. They claim it will be fulfilled after Christ comes to snatch away the righteous secretly. They agree that the sixty nine weeks of Daniel 9:25 refer to the period before Christ’s first advent, but then they insert a 2000 year gap before the seventieth week is fulfilled. They allot 69 weeks plus 2,000 years plus one week, or a total of approximately 2,490 years. By this devious manipulation of God’s Word by the Papacy, the rapturist’s believe they have extended the Jewish probation and based upon this, they teach that all the Jews will be saved in a great second chance after the “secret rapture” takes place.

The tragedy of this Jesuit spawned rapture theory that was commissioned by the Papacy is that it takes this beautiful messianic prophecy of Daniel 9:24-27, that proves Jesus is the Messiah by predicting His coming, His baptism and crucifixion, and then applying it to the Antichrist. They do this by stating that it is Antichrist that causes the sacrifice and oblation to cease after three and a half years. But Daniel states that it is Jesus who caused the sacrificial system of the Jews to cease when He died on the cross. A misinterpretation that confuses something Christ has done and applies it to the devil instead, is certainly a tragic and blasphemous occurrence. This is however the only way they could arrive at a seven year tribulation period. How very sad.
When speaking of Christ’s second coming, you often hear the question are you pre-tribulation, mid-tribulation or post tribulation. These terms are also the result of the very same Jesuit spawned propaganda. It also comes from the seventieth week of Daniel’s 70 week prophecy. Pre-tribulation is taken from the time of Christ’s anointing, mid-tribulation comes from the time Christ was crucified and post tribulation comes from the end of Daniel’s 70 week period which was the end of Israel’s time to repent of there rebellion and coincided with Stephens stoning.
Who is spreading this false secret rapture theory today?
In the 1990s, Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins took the future one-man Antichrist idea of Hal Lindsey, Cyrus Scofield, John Darby, Irving, Newman, Todd, Maitland, Bellarmine, and Ribera and turned it into “The most successful Christian-fiction series ever” (Publishers Weekly).
Hal Lindsey’s book, “The Late Great Planet Earth,” was largely theological, which limited its appeal, while “Left Behind” is a sequence of highly imaginative fictional novels. The television ministries of Jack Van Impe, Peter and Paul Lalonde and Pastor John Hagee have all worked together to produce “LEFT BEHIND: The Movie.” This project even caught the attention of the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal, resulting in an interview with LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins on Larry King Live. Left Behind is now teaching much of the same Jesuit Futurism as Francisco Ribera, which is hiding the real truth about the Antichrist. Through Left Behind, Futurism has taken a very strong hold, unleashing a massive tidal wave of false prophecy which is sweeping over the world. Everyone believes movies and books, right? With all the false teaching already circulating on the secret rapture and seven year tribulation period, even though these books are fictional, many have taken them as being greatly truth. Satan continues to clap his hands in glee over just another one of his great deceptions on the Christian world. And as usual, many Christians and even Pastors will not entertain the idea of this being possible as they will not consider the majority could be wrong and so the lie continues to spread like a disease.
If Christians don’t start waking up to the devils many deceptions, a lot of good people are going to perish. Satan’s deceptions are strong and convincing, but Christ has given us ample information to help us discern truth from error if we will only diligently study His Word.
Do we go through the great tribulation?
The Bible says that those who refuse the Mark of the Beast will NOT be affected by the Seven Last Plagues that come over the whole world. (Revelation 16:2) But this does not mean that we will not have to go through the time of trouble, nor that we will not be persecuted.
John 16:33 “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”
Revelation 16:12, 15 “And the sixth angel poured out his vial (sixth plague) upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared. 15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.”
Note again that it is no secret rapture when Jesus comes “as a thief” as the angels have just poured out six plagues on the Earth for those who received the Mark of the beast or worshipped his image. Hence we are also here during the tribulation as these plagues are part of God’s judgement which follows. God’s faithful ones are of course protected from these plagues.
In Daniel 3:16-28 Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were thrown into the fiery furnace but God was with them through the persecution and in this case took them safely through it. They refused to disobey God and kept His Commandments. Note how Revelation 14:12 below also talks of how those who did not get the Mark of the Beast also kept God’s Commandments. There is obviously a strong link there to obedience to God and who we Worship in regards to the Mark.
The Bible often refers to times of patience with times of suffering. Revelation 13:10 speaks of the “patient of the saints” after they endured the 1260 years of persecution from the Roman Catholic Church which is the first Beast. Over 50 million Christians were tortured and murdered. Revelation 14:12 is the verse following the Mark of the Beast warning, and the “patience of the saints” as those who will endure through that time and still keep God’s Commandments.
Revelation 13:10 “He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.”
Revelation 14:12 “Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.”
The teaching of this false, Jesuit manufactured Secret Rapture and escape from persecution will be a devastating deception for Christians. Persecution and suffering have always been God’s means of strengthening His people and producing strong character. Here is God’s purpose in times of tribulation. It is to build perseverance, character, trust and hope in Him.
Romans 5:3-4 “And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; 4 and perseverance, character; and character, hope.”
Satan wants to impede and restrain strength and character building in Christians by getting us focused on escaping trouble and persecution instead of our preparing to go through persecution even to the point of death. Even Jesus “learned obedience by the things which he suffered.” (Hebrews 5:8) Jesus guarantees that if we speak His truth boldly, we will suffer persecution.
John 15:20 “Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.”
James 5:10 “Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience. 11 Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.”
When these “soft” Christians are confronted with heavy persecution, they will fall like dominoes and Satan will be ecstatic and yet once again Satan’s lies will have been very successful.
Will there be a Second Chance?
I would imagine the answer to this question should be fairly obvious by now but let’s look at it anyway. Those who teach the secret rapture claim that during the tribulation those not raptured will be given another chance to be saved. Let it be categorically stated that absolutely nowhere does Scripture speak of any second chance, nor does the Bible anywhere speak of people being saved after Jesus comes. This is just another manmade doctrine that is indeed pleasing to the carnal heart of man and the devils intention to have those who would wait perish with Christ’s coming. The Bible in fact actually teaches the opposite. Notice these clear Scriptures;
2 Corinthians 6:2 “(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)”
Revelation 22:11-12 “He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. 12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.”
When Jesus comes the second time, He carries “in his hand a sharp sickle.” Revelation 14:14. This is the reaping time after sixty centuries of the sowing of the seeds of sin. This is the harvest time, and “the harvest is the end of the world.” Matthew 13:39. “And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.” Revelation 14:16.
Jeremiah 8:20 truly says, “The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved.” There can be no saving after the reaping of earth’s harvest at the coming of Christ. When Jesus and His Holy angels appear, then “before him shall be gathered all nations.” Matthew 25:32. There will only be two classes in that great company. The destiny of each has been set by what he did before the coming of Christ. Let us stand firm on the Word of God alone and reject these manmade, Satan driven, pleasing ideas that form the bulk of the whole secret rapture theory.
The attitude of so many Christians seems to be that you should live a Holy life now so you don’t have to go through the Great Tribulation, but even if you don’t you will get another chance after this so-called secret rapture. But as we have seen in scripture and by this manufactured doctrine, when judgment comes there is no second chance. When people die in their sins they are lost forever, there is no second chance. Why should the Second Coming be any different?
Can Christ’s return be at any moment?
All too frequently coupled with the Secret Rapture doctrine is the equally misguided concept that Christ can come back at any moment, even tonight, as we so often hear well meaning Pastors and Evangelists proclaim. While we do not doubt the Lord’s ability, we do believe that God is not the author of confusion but of a great plan for those who trust and obey Him. Although we are well aware that no man knows the exact day and hour of Christ’s return, it is equally certain that there are various prophecies that await their complete fulfilment and that not until we witness these things come to pass, can we expect the Lord at any moment. It was this very doctrine which had come into the Church at Thessalonica and made it necessary for Paul to write:
2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 “Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.”
Those who believe in the Secret Rapture and that Christ can come at any moment say He will gather the believers before antichrist appears yet this Scripture says the absolute opposite. This verse refers to the Papacy and the pope seated (sitteth) in a position of power in the Church. We are the temple of God on Earth now. For Paul to call a rebuilt temple the temple of God would be to deny what Christ did on the cross. When the temple curtain was ripped from top to bottom this signified the end to the sacrificial system. Paul would never call it God’s temple.
Secret Rapture Summary
It is our sincere and earnest prayer that this document will reveal to you the total unscriptural nature of the Secret Rapture doctrine. Instead of preparing God’s people to face the increasingly difficult days ahead, as tribulation intensifies, this Jesuit manufactured doctrine has deluded millions of Christians into a false notion of escapism. Instead of obeying the Lord’s command to resist evil and occupy until He comes, they have become so “rapture” minded that they no longer even resist the evil, believing that they will not defeat it, but instead be rescued from it.
Sometime soon, Satan will attempt to personate Jesus and counterfeit His return to Earth. But God’s people need not be deceived. When the disciples asked Jesus for the sign of His coming and the end of the world, the very first thing He told them was to be on guard against impostors. In Matthew 24:4-5 “Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.”
The devil has been sharpening his deception skills for 6,000 years and his last masquerade will be his masterpiece. Jesus warns that he will do such a convincing job that, if it were possible, even the very elect would be deceived. Satan has introduced the strong delusion of the secret rapture to the Christian world that has been almost universally accepted in mainline churches. Jesus warned in Matthew 24:23-24 “Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. 24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”
As we have noticed, the Bible clearly teaches that Jesus Christ will come the second time in glorious majesty to take His redeemed home with Him. It will be a personal, visible, and earth shaking event that everyone alive will know about. The righteous will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air (1 Thessalonians 4:17), whereas the wicked will be slain by the brightness of His coming (2 Thessalonians 2:8). Let us carefully and diligently study our Bibles so we will not be deceived concerning this most important and wonderful hope, the second coming of Jesus.
Christ’s Second Coming will be seen and heard by all

The Bible is unmistakeably clear that when Jesus comes back, His feet never touch the ground. It says the righteous will be caught up to meet Him in the air (1 Thessalonians 4:17). This is why Jesus emphatically warns us in Matthew 24:26, “Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. 27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”
His Second Coming is Not a Secret
Matthew 24:27-31 “For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together. 29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.”
Acts 1:9-11 “And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. 10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; 11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee , why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.”
1 Corinthians 15:52 “In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”
2 Peter 3:10 “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.”
Revelation 1:7 “Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.”
Revelation 6:14 “And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.”
His Second Coming Will Be Audible
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”

His Second Coming Will Be Visible
Matthew 24:27 “For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”
Matthew 24:30 “And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.”
His Second Coming Will Destroy the Earth
Isaiah 24:19 “The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly. 20 The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.”
2 Peter 3:10 “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.”
Revelation 6:14 “And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.”
Revelation 16:18-20 “And there were noises and thunderings and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such a mighty and great earthquake as had not occurred since men were on the earth. 19 Now the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. And great Babylon was remembered before God, to give her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of His wrath. 20 Then every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.”
1 Corinthians 15, 1 Thessalonians 4 and Matthew 24 are the same event

The Rapture.. I too once believed in the lie
Posted by Lynn on July 26, 2008
Growing up in church, I was taught that the saints, those saved, would be spared from the end by a secret rapture. Oh how wonderful it would be when the Messiah came back and raptured His believers away forever to be in heaven. As an adult, seeking truth and having the desire to know God , I now know how mislead I was and deceived. Today the church (COGOP) I grew up in still holds on to the lie so tightly that they fail to receive any truth at all and are clearly a dead church. That is why it is so important to dig deep into things and get the truth of it even if it means reprogramming yourself. In this blog I am going to show you facts that completely dispel the Rapture and expose it as a doctrine of demons spoken of by Paul. Not that it alone is false but one of many false doctrines that many stumble at truth because of it.
First we need to understand that the 7 week of tribulation as taught also in churches and in Judeo-Christianity is a LIE. see http://forbiddenfruitjam.wordpress.com/2008/07/24/7-years-of-tribulation/
With that in mind, it cancels out a pre-trib rapture because tribulations started 2000+ years ago. It also cancels out a mid-trib rapture because we are past the half way point and are indeed closer to the end. It also does away with the post-trib rapture because what I am going to show you is not a Rapture of believers but rather a rapture, if you want to call it that, of evil and resurrection of the elect.
Mat 24:37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Mat 24:38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark,
Mat 24:39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Before the flood men where doing their own thing without YHWH and not that we cannot eat or drink or marry but they were partaking in sinful abusive behavior and had turned from YHWH. AT the time of the flood we have read that only Noah found favor with YHWH. Just like in the flood, the evil had no idea when or if the flood would come and so it shall be when the Messiah returns. The evil ones will be the ones not knowing. There will be no secrets to the believers because HE has told us in His word and He will prepare us for His coming. So when He comes it is the evil that will be taken away like the flood. Believers will not be taken away first. The evil will be removed and destroyed. Many Christians misuse the following as well and say it is a rapture of the saints.
Mat 24:40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
Mat 24:41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
Mat 24:42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
The ones taken are removed just as in the days of Noah, like the flood. Its the saved one that is left. The series “Left Behind” has been one of the biggest misleading series to read. I have read it and it is in no way truthful. They are not biblical and are full of deceit and lies on all biblical principles. They should be burned! I threw my books in the trash rather then let someone else read that trash and be mislead by lies. I am sick and tired of being lied to by man.
Again here is more on what they say talks about a rapture.
Mat 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
Mat 24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.
They say because the days will be shortened is referring to the rapture. But it doesn’t say that at all. It means He will not continue to tarry when it gets real bad because of the elect. HE WILL RETURN.
So when is He coming?
2Th 2:1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and our gathering together unto him,
2Th 2:2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
2Th 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
There are things that must take place before He returns and they are happening now. The great falling away is ever so alive. Churches are spreading lies at an alarming rate and misleading the sheep to believe in any doctrines. No one studies for themselves,. Everyone in their own minds serve a god that is comfortable to them and are not saved at all. The man of sin has already been revealed to them that are seeking truth and is being revealed to those also that YHWH has called. The church of today supports the anti-Christ while saying they don’t. They are blind to who the anti-Christ is and deceived with delusion. Until this is fulfilled, Messiah won’t come.
2Th 2:7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. [God is letting the evil ones do what they are doing until HE destroys them. When YHWH is ready to reveal the identity to His chosen, He will]
2Th 2:8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
2Th 2:9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, [Anti-Christ has been at work since Messiah's first coming.]
2Th 2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. [Many serve the anti-Christ ignorantly and in doing so have rejected the love of the truth. They follow man rather then YHWH]
2Th 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: [DUH...Like the rapture!]
1Th 4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
1Th 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
1Th 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
1Th 4:18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
When Messiah returns, it will be a noisy and loud day! The dead will be given life and those alive that remain will be with them. They shall all be changed and made as the Messiah was in His resurrection. Incorruptible and immortal! To be caught up and be with Messiah is speaking of the resurrection. We were not meant to be in Heaven but rather we were told we would inherit the EARTH. To be in the air is to be out of the grave and breathing once again.
How did man ever twist and turn truth into lies? They had help from the enemy who at this time I will not be revealing until time permits me to do so. It will shock and amaze you and many will scoff at the truth and call it hate but YHWH is the one that makes the rules…not man.
Get into the word and study this subject. I will be posting more on this subject and hope you will take time and know truth!

Eternal Soul in Torment Forever in Hell…..Who lied to you?
Posted by Lynn on July 26, 2008
This is the belief of most people professing to be Christian today. If you are a bad person you are damned for eternity in a firey BBQ pit for humans to be tortured and burned over and over again. This type of belief would make one think that our souls are eternal and I got a problem with that as the bible states NO WHERE that man’s souls are immortal.
Here is a study that was beautifully done to explain some truth and make it so easy to understand.
Job 4:17. “Shall mortal man be more just than God? Shall a man be more pure than his maker?” The word mortal means subject to death; the word immortal means not subject to death.
1 Timothy 1:17. “Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever, Amen.” God is the only One who has immortality. 1 Timothy 6:l6 is even more clear. “Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.” Only God has this power of immortal existence. Man is described as being mortal, or subject to death.
Some people believe that the above texts refer to the body and that the soul is immortal, and that the soul itself cannot die. This next text will forever clear up this misunderstanding. “Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.” Ezekiel 18:4. This text says that the soul is subject to death.
Nowhere in the Bible is the doctrine taught that the soul is immortal.
If the soul is subject to death, then where did this belief originate that the soul does not die? We can start at the beginning of the Bible and find out very soon who is responsible for this lie. You can read Genesis 3:1-4 which is the conversation between the Serpent and Eve and you will see in the fourth verse that Satan, the Serpent, told Eve the very first lie: “Ye shall not surely die.” Right at the beginning of mankind, an adversary originated this lie that the soul would not die and it has been carried down through the ages.
If indeed the soul is mortal or subject to death, then what actually happens when a person dies?
What is a Soul?
“Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.” Ecclesiastes 12:7. This scripture states that the spirit shall return unto God who gave it. What does it mean when it speaks of the spirit? In Job 27:3 it says, “All the while my breath is in me, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils.” This text shows us that the spirit which God gives to man, is in his nostrils. Genesis 2:7 says, “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” God breathed into man’s nostrils at creation and that breath of life is the spirit which returns to God at death.
So the words breath and spirit are used as the same word in the Bible, meaning the life which God gave man. And the breath and or spirit is how man lives. The body of mankind was formed out of the dust of the ground and then God breathed life into man and he became a living soul. You’ll notice that man became a living soul, not received a living soul. There is a difference. These two things make up life breath from God and dust from the ground.
Read Psalms 104:29,30. “Thou hidest thy face, they are troubled: thou takest away their breath, they die, and return to their dust. Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created: and thou renewest the face of the earth.” Life and death are here described together and the words breath and spirit are used the same.
Where Are The Dead?
If the fact then is that the body returns to the ground and the breath of life returns to God, then where are the dead? When Peter in Acts 2:34 was speaking about David the patriarch, he answered the question. “For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand.” Acts 2:29, “Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.
“
Peter made it perfectly clear that David was still in his tomb, not in heaven or hell as many believe. David will come forth when the “dead in Christ rise first” at the second coming of Jesus. David is now resting in the grave until the resurrection.
Where Are The Wicked?
This answers the question about the ones who die with faith in Jesus, but what happens to the wicked when they die? Do they go to a place called hell? Are they punished at the time of their death? 2 Peter 2:9. “The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished.” The wicked are reserved until the day of judgment, and then at that time they will receive their punishment. Where are they until that time? John 5:28,29 answers the question, which is Jesus speaking: “Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.” Where are they? They are in their graves.
What About Lazarus?
If you just stop for a moment and think about this wonderful truth. You will realize that our loved ones who have preceded us in death, are not being tormented now in hell, nor are they in heaven either where they would be looking down upon the terrible scenes taking place on this earth. They are all sleeping the sleep of death until resurrection morning. The Bible calls death a sleep. Jesus said his friend Lazarus was asleep when he referred to Lazarus’ death. “Our friend Lazarus sleepeth” John 11:11.
Lazarus Is Dead
Then in John ll:l4 Jesus said, “Lazarus is dead.” Christ called Lazarus forth from his tomb where he had been dead for four days. When Lazarus stepped forth from his tomb, he did not say that he had been to heaven. If Lazarus had been in heaven, don’t you think that he would have protested about being brought back to this sinful earth. He would not have wanted to stay here for even one minute. He would have told those around him of the glorious scenes of heaven. But Lazarus did not speak of heaven. Lazarus had been sleeping in the dust of the earth since the breath of life had left him. Ecclesiastes 9:5. “For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not anything, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.
“
Lazarus was not conscious of anything that was going on during the time he was in the tomb. Psalms 146:4 says; “His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.” We have no thoughts after death.
Psalms 115:17 tells us that there is no praise of God as far as the dead are concerned. “The dead praise not the Lord, neither any that go down into silence.” Isaiah 38:18,19 says: “For the grave cannot praise thee, death cannot celebrate thee: they that go down into the pit cannot hope for thy truth. The living, the living, he shall praise thee, as I do this day: the father to the children shall make known thy truth.
” Psalms 6:5 says, “For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks?”
Why Face A Future Judgment?
Why would there be a judgment set for the future, after the second coming of Christ, if people were already in heaven or hell? The false belief that the dead are still alive is confusing. How can one that is dead be alive at the same time. Why would he have to face a judgment in the future if he had already received his reward or punishment at the time of death.
The Bible is not confusing us. The Bible states only the truth. The Bible facts are: “And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.” Revelation 22:12. “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first.” 1 Thessalonians 4:16. “We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed. . . in the twinkling of an eye. . . for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible. . . for this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.” 1 Corinthians 15:51-54.
When we die, it is as sleep to us. Whether we have died years ago or just a few days before the second coming of Jesus, it will seem to be but a moment of time until we are resurrected. Just as you go to sleep at night and without realizing the time that has gone by, it is morning. So it will be when we fall asleep in death. Resurrection morning will seem to come to us in a moment of time.
The Truth Will Set Us Free
Let us pray that we will be counted among the loyal and faithful in the resurrection of the righteous. That when we fall asleep in death, our hearts will have already made the decision to serve the Lord and our names will be written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

“Seedline Theory” Another reply
Posted by Lynn on July 26, 2008
I recently posted the following reply complete with scriptures to a topic that was horribly full of false interpretations of this subject that I found to be disturbing. Please read along with my other blog on the Seedline Theory.
I am really having an issue with everyone’s beliefs here. Forget the fact that the flood of Noah’s day DESTROYED all evil, there is no scriptural foundation to what is being discussed in this topic and just like the secret rapture it is false, a lie and misleading at the least. My heart is heavy and I am in torment because I delight in truth and finding answers to questions, not making more questions because the answers are false.
The Kenites of the bible are not from Cain, they are a tribe of Caanan during Abraham’s time. Also Moses’s father-in-law was Kenite therefore Moses’ wife as well.
Jdg 1:16 And the children of [Jethro] the Kenite, Moses’ father-in-law, went up out of the city of palm trees with the children of Judah into the wilderness of Judah, which lieth in the south of Arad; and they went and dwelt among the people.
YHWH blessed the wife of a Kenite
Jdg 5:24 Blessed above women shall Jael the wife of Heber the Kenite be, blessed shall she be above women in the tent.
Jdg 5:25 He asked water, and she gave him milk; she brought forth butter in a lordly dish.
The Kenites are not descendants of Cain. Cain was the son of Adam that was exiled for sin. YHWH was prepared to accept him had he did the correct sacrifice. So are you all saying YHWH was prepared to embrace the hybrid son of satan?
Adam ate of the same fruit as Eve and if that was sex with satan then Adam is a queer. Not to mention that by Adam staying with Eve after she bedded another is against the law which is the knowledge they gained from the tree. Whoever this enchanter was, he was from the others created before Adam. That is why the children of Adam have enmity with those not of Adam’s bloodline.
YHWH never said Adam’s would war between Cain. It was Esau and Jacob who would always be at one another. Esau (who isn’t the seedline of satan either) is the twin of Jacob and they come from the same bloodline but because of the sin of Esau in taking Caananite women (not Kenites) He disobeyed YHWH.
The reason Esau cannot be of a serpent is because the Messiah confirmed to the Pharisees that they were in fact from Abraham. However they were not from Jacob but from Esau. (John 8:29-37)
The knowledge of good and evil in the garden (tree) was not having sex…..Eve was seduced to in some way by someone that was cunning and slick, an enchanter, to disobey Yahweh’s law that said not to partake of that tree or even touch it and by thinking she would not die by this because he was so convincing. After-all sin is transgression of His law and without a law there is no sin. By doing the same and not obeying and keeping Yahweh’s laws, thinking we don’t have to anymore, are we not saying we are gods in a way? That we have power? I believe so and I think Eve did too. If any sex was happening it had to be with Adam because that is what it says in scripture and because any other would break YHWH’s laws and make Adam and Eve adulterers. Not to mention Adam a queer, an abomination before YHWH.
Who provides us with the knowledge of good and evil?…THE OMNISCIENT YHWH not some demon god satan! That is plain blasphemy.
How does He transfer knowledge of good and evil to man? Man’s cognizance of good and evil comes from YHWH’s law. The second time Moses delivered YHWH’s law to the children of Israel he described the law like this…..
Deu 30:15 See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;
Deu 30:16 In that I command thee this day to love YHWH thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and YHWH thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.
The words “good” and “evil” ascribed to the law of YHWH here are translated from the same two Hebrew words “towb” and “ra” used in Genesis 2 and 3 regarding the tree of knowledge of good and evil. So since the tree is about the knowledge of YHWH’s law, by calling it what you have, would not that be evil in the eyes of Yahweh? I would think so.
I beg that those believing in this theory please look into it further. Although I agree with Murray on a lot, this subject and his belief is wrong and not harmonizing with the word. With this belief it misleads and when certain truths come your way you will not understand because they will not make sense.
Note I do not direct my comments personally. I exhort you to understand the truth and my rebuke is in brotherly love.

Seven years of Tribulation NOT FOUND IN BIBLE!

7 Years of Tribulation? Part 1&2
by Steve Wohlberg
A man who has committed a mistake and doesn’t correct it is committing another mistake. -Confucius (551-479 B.C.).
The concept of a seven-year Tribulation is the underlying foundation of the entire Left Behind scenario (and all other pro-rapture books and movies). The theory is: rapture first, then seven years of horror.
Book Two of the Left Behind novels declares, “The disappearances have ushered in the seven year period of Tribulation” (The Tribulation Force, inside cover). Book Three reveals, “…the seven-year Tribulation is nearing the end of its first quarter…” (Nicolae, inside cover). Book Six tells us, “It’s the midpoint of the seven-year Tribulation” (The Indwelling, inside cover). Book Eight begins with, “…the dawn of the second half of the seven-year Tribulation” (The Mark, inside cover). Book Eleven opens “six years into the Tribulation, two and one-half years into the Great Tribulation” (Armageddon, p. vii). Thus this New York Times, USA-Today, and Wall Street Journal bestselling series of end times, prophecy books, endorsed by well-respected church leaders worldwide, is built entirely around this seven-year framework.
Where does this “seven-year” concept come from anyway? It may shock you, but if you look for “seven years of tribulation” in any concordance, you won’t find it. The truth is, from Genesis to Revelation, there is no exact passage that specifically mentions a seven-year period of tribulation at all. Amazingly, the entire theory is really based on a rather speculative interpretation of two little words in one single verse. The text is Daniel 9:27; and the two words are, “one week.” Let me explain.
The Book of Daniel was written while the Jews were in Babylon—in exile because of their sins. Daniel 9:24-27 contains a prophecy from the angel Gabriel to encourage the Jewish people that they would be given a “second chance” to return to Jerusalem, rebuild their temple, and ultimately, receive their Messiah (Jesus Christ).
This highly controversial prophecy literally reads:
Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks [62 weeks]: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured out upon the desolate (Daniel 9:24-27 KJV).
Thus we have a prophecy about “seventy weeks.” Gabriel then subdivides the period into three smaller periods of seven weeks (verse 25), sixty-two weeks (verse 25), and one week (verse 27). 7+62+1=70.
Seventy weeks = 490 days. A day in prophecy represents a year (see Numbers 14:34 and Ezekiel 4:6). Thus 490 days are really 490 years. Without going into all the chronological details here (I will get more specific in a later chapter), the prophecy starts with a direct “commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem” (verse 25) after the Babylonian captivity and reaches down to the first coming of Jesus Christ. After 69 weeks (after 483 years), “shall Messiah be cut off” (verse 26). All Christian scholars apply this to the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. After our Lord’s agonizing death, “the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary” (verse 26). While there are differences of opinion as to who “the people of the prince” refers to, the majority of scholars nevertheless apply the destruction of “the city and the sanctuary” to the second destruction of Jerusalem and its rebuilt sanctuary by Roman armies under Prince Titus in 70 A.D.
So far, we have seen 69 weeks fulfilled. That leaves “one week” left, otherwise known as the famous “70th week of Daniel.
” Again, that highly controversial text literally says:
And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease… (Daniel 9:27 KJV).
Based on the day-year principle (which is valid), the “one week” remaining in this prophecy must refer to a period of seven years. Pro-rapture promoters claim this is the seven-year period of tribulation. Their idea is that while the first 69 weeks (or 483 years) did reach to the first coming of Jesus Christ, the prophetic clock has stopped because the Jewish people largely rejected Him. Then they slide the 70th week (the last seven years) all the way down to the end times, call it the tribulation, and say it applies to the Jewish people after we’re gone.
Rapture teachers interpret Daniel 9:27 as follows:
(1) “He shall confirm the covenant with many for one week.” “He” is the antichrist who will make a covenant (or peace treaty) with the Jews during the seven years of tribulation.
(2) “In the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease…” In the middle of the seven-year tribulation, the antichrist will break his covenant, turn against Israel, and stop their animal sacrifices.
(3) The phrase, “he shall cause the sacrifice…to cease” is viewed as irrefutable proof that a Jewish temple (which includes sacrifices) must be rebuilt on the Temple Mount inside Jerusalem.
Bestselling author Hal Lindsey in his The Late Great Planet Earth reflects this current view when he writes about “God’s last seven years of dealing with the Jewish people before the long awaited setting up of the kingdom of God (Daniel 9:27).” (The Late Great Planet Earth, p. 46) According to Mr. Lindsey, during those seven years “ ‘the Antichrist,’ breaks his covenant with the Jewish people and causes the Jewish temple worship, according to the Law of Moses, to cease (Daniel 9:27)…We must conclude that a third Temple will be rebuilt upon its ancient site in old Jerusalem.” (Ibid.)
Therefore, according to countless modern interpreters, Daniel 9:27 is applied to a future antichrist, a future peace treaty made with Israel, a future seven-year tribulation, and a future rebuilt Jewish temple inside Jerusalem. And all of this will supposedly start with the rapture.
Honestly, that’s a lot to interpret from that single verse, especially when Daniel 9:27 says absolutely nothing about any seven-year tribulation, antichrist, or rebuilt Jewish temple!
Could there be something wrong with this picture?
You’ll find out in the next chapter.

Seven Years of Tribulation? Part 2
by Steve Wohlberg
Prophecy-minded Christians all over Planet Earth often engage in a fierce debate about whether Jesus Christ will return for His Church before the seven years of tribulation (the “pre-trib” view), in the midst of the seven years (the “mid-trib” view), or at the end of the seven years (the “post-trib” view).
Yet by far the most explosive question few seem to be asking is: Is an end-time “seven-year period of tribulation” really taught in the Bible in the first place?
In 1945, after months of agonizing deliberation, U.S. President Harry Truman finally issued orders to drop two atomic bombs upon Japan in an attempt to end World War II. On August 6, the “Little Boy” fell on Hiroshima. Three days later, the “Fat Man” was released over Nagasaki. Approximately 130,000 people were instantly vaporized. Many heated discussions have occurred as to whether or not it was the right thing to drop those bombs. One thing’s for sure, in the minds of those who made that fearful decision, they believed it was for the ultimate good of America.
Dear friend, it is for the benefit of Christians everywhere that God’s bomb of truth should now be released over what I have come to call, “The 70th week of Daniel Delusion.
As we have seen, the entire 7-year theory is based on Daniel 9:27, which says:
He shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease… (Daniel 9:27 KJV ).
This may shock you, but historically, the vast majority of well-respected Bible scholars have not applied Daniel 9:27 to a seven-year period of tribulation at all. Neither have they interpreted the “he” as referring to a future antichrist (as many do today) . Instead, they applied it to Jesus Christ.
Notice what the world-famous Bible commentary written by Matthew Henry says about Daniel 9:27: “By offering himself a sacrifice once and for all he [Jesus] shall put an end to all the Levitical sacrifices.”(1) T hus Matthew Henry applied Daniel 9:27 to Christ, not antichrist. Another famous commentary written by British Methodist Adam Clarke says that during Daniel 9:27’s “term of seven years,” Jesus Himself would “confirm or ratify the new covenant with mankind.”(2) A nother dusty Bible commentary reveals: “He shall confirm the covenant—Christ. The confirmation of the covenant is assigned to Him.” (3)
Here’s one more statement from a book called, Christ and Antichrist, published in 1846 by the Presbyterian Board of Publication in Philadelphia. On page 2, under Recommendations, are endorsements from many Presbyterian, Methodist, and Baptist ministers, including an official representative of the Southern Baptist Convention.
(4) Commenting on the final week of Daniel 9:27, that ancient volume states:
…sometime during the remaining seven, he [the Messiah] was to die as a sacrifice for sin, and thus bring in “everlasting righteousness.” Here are allusions to events so palpable, that one would think, the people among whom they occurred, could not possibly have misapplied the prophecy.(5)
Okay, here we go. The following ten points provide logical and convincing evidence that Daniel’s famous 70th week has no application to any future seven-year tribulation at all. Rather, this great prophetic period was definitely fulfilled nearly two thousand years ago.
1. The entire prophecy of Daniel 9:24-27 covers a period of “seventy weeks,” or 490 years. Logic requires that “seventy weeks” refers to one consecutive block of time, in other words, to seventy straight sequential weeks. There is no example in Scripture (or anywhere else!) of a stated time period starting, stopping, and then starting again. All biblical references to time are consecutive: 40 days and 40 nights (see Genesis 7:4), 400 years in Egypt (see Genesis 15:13), 70 years of captivity (see Daniel 9:2), etc. In Daniel’s prophecy, the “seventy weeks” were to begin during the reign of Persia and continue to the time of the Messiah.
2. Logic also requires that the 70th week follow immediately after the 69th week.
If it doesn’t, then it cannot properly be called the 70th week!
3. It is illogical to insert a 2,000-year gap between the 69th and 70th week. No hint of a gap is found in the prophecy itself.
There is no gap between the first seven weeks and the following sixty-two weeks, so why insert one between the 69th and 70th week?
Note: If you told your child to be in bed in 70 minutes, you obviously would mean 70 consecutive minutes. What if five hours later your fully awake son said, “But dad, I know 69 minutes have passed, but the 70th minute hasn’t started yet!”? After receiving an appropriate punishment, he would be swiftly sent to bed.
4. Daniel 9:27 says nothing about a seven-year period of “tribulation,” a “rebuilt” Jewish temple, or any “antichrist.”
5. The stated focus of this prophecy is the Messiah, not the antichrist. After the Messiah is “cut off” (referring to Christ’s death), the text says, “And the people of the prince who is to come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary.” I n the past, this has been consistently applied to the destruction of Jerusalem and the second temple by Roman armies led by Prince Titus in A.D. 70.11
6. “He shall confirm the covenant.” Paul said “the covenant” was “confirmed before by God in Christ” (Galatians 3:17). Jesus Christ came “to confirm the promises made to the fathers” (Romans 15:8, emphasis added). In the King James Version, Daniel 9:27 doesn’t say “ a covenant” or peace treaty, but “ the covenant,” which applies to the New Covenant. Nowhere in the Bible does the antichrist make, confirm, or break a covenant with anyone. The word “covenant” is Messianic, and always applies to the Messiah, not the antichrist.
7. “He shall confirm the covenant with many. ” Jesus Christ said, “This is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many… ” (Matthew 26:28). Behold a perfect fit! Jesus was quoting Daniel 9:27 specifically.
8. “In the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease.” After exactly three and a half years of holy ministry, Jesus Christ died on the cross, “in the midst of the week [in the middle of the seven years].” At the exact moment of His death, “the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom…” (Matthew 27:51). This act of God signified that all animal sacrifices at that moment ceased to be of value.
Why? Because the Perfect Sacrifice had been offered!
9. “For the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate.” “The abomination of desolation” (see Matthew 24:15) is not a simple subject, yet we know that Jesus clearly applied this event to the time when His followers were to flee from Jerusalem before the destruction of the second temple in A.D. 70. In a parallel text to Matthew 24:15, Jesus told His disciples, “When you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies [Roman armies led by Prince Titus], then know that its desolation is near ” (Luke 21:20, emphasis added). The disciples did “see” those very events. Because of the “abominations” of the Pharisees, Jesus told them, “See! Your house is left to you desolate” (Matthew 23:38). Thus Gabriel’s statement in Daniel 9:27 about Jerusalem becoming “desolate” was perfectly fulfilled in A.D. 70.
10. Gabriel said that the 70-week prophecy specifically applied to the Jewish people (see Daniel 9:24). During the period of Christ’s public ministry of 3 1 / 2 years, the Master’s focus was largely upon “the lost sheep of the house of Israel” (Matthew 10:6). After His resurrection and then for another 3 1/2 years, His disciples preached mostly to Jews (see Acts 1-6). After that second 3 1/2 -year period, in 34 A.D., the bold Stephen was stoned by the Jewish Sanhedrin (see Acts 7). This infamous deed marked the then-ruling Jewish leaders’ final, official rejection of the gospel of our Savior. Then the gospel went to the Gentiles. In Acts 9, Saul became Paul, the “apostle to the Gentiles” (Romans 11:13). In Acts 10, God gave Peter a vision revealing it was now time to preach to the Gentiles (see Acts 10:1-28). Read also Acts 13:46. Thus approximately 3 1/2 years after the crucifixion— and at the end of the 70-week prophecy given f or the Jewish people—the gospel shifted to the Gentiles exactly as predicted in Bible prophecy.
The explosive evidence is overwhelming! Point by point the events of Daniel’s 70th week have been fulfilled in the past. These eight words found in Daniel 9:27: “confirm…covenant…many…midst…sacrifice…cease… abominations…desolate” all find perfect fulfillment in Jesus Christ and early Christian history.
In the words of that 1846 Presbyterian publication,
The seventy weeks of Daniel therefore, have certainly ended many centuries ago. We are not to look to the future for the fulfillment of these predictions. We must look to the past. And if to the past; where is there one who can have any adequate claims to being the subject of these prophecies, but Jesus? He, and he only can claim them; and to him they most certainly refer.(7)
…one would think, the people [the Jews] among whom [these events] occurred, could not possibly have misapplied the prophecy.(8)
But they did. In fact, one major reason why the Jewish nation as a whole failed to receive its Messiah was because its scholars misinterpreted Daniel 9:27. They failed to see Jesus Christ as the predicted One who would die in the midst of the 70th week! Amazingly, the exact same thing is happening today. Sincere Christian scholars are now misapplying the very same prophecy.
The entire “seven-year period of tribulation” theory is an end time delusion, a massive mega-myth. It may even go down in history as the greatest evangelical misinterpretation of all time. The whole concept is like a gigantic bubble. Once Daniel 9:27 is correctly understood and the sharply-pointed pin of truth is inserted, “Pop goes the seven years!” It’s a fact: There is no text in the Bible which teaches a “seven-year tribulation.” If you hunt for it, you’ll end up like Ponce de Leon searching for the mystical Fountain of Youth, but never finding it.
The current debate and tremendous confusion over pre-trib, mid-trib, or post-trib is really a smoke screen of the enemy to hide the real issue. What is the real issue? We’ll find out when we study what the Book of Revelation truly teaches about Israel, Babylon the Great, and Armageddon.
Taken from Chapter 5 of Steve Wohlberg’s newest book, End Time Delusions: The Rapture, the Antichrist, Israel, and the End of the World.
After reading the above, how can anyone not see that we have been lied to and made to believe fables? So, if there isn’t a 7 years tribulation I wonder how long people will continued to wait for a rapture and miss finding truth for believing in lies?

Seedline “THEORY”
Posted by Lynn on July 23, 2008
Why do so many professing to be Christians believing in this theory? I will tell you. Because just as they believe all the other doctrines that are not true this is no different. The enemy has sowed his seed of lies into the very word of Yahweh itself. No do not get me wrong, Yahweh’s word is not a lie, the way it has been interpreted is a lie. This seedline theory has more questions then answers. I have learned from the school of hard knocks that if you have more unanswered questions than answers you really need to look deeper into it.
Recently while on another subject I stumbled upon Westley Swift. I read a paper that was really good and revealing. I told someone I trust about it and he told me to be careful. I asked why and he explained that although there are lots of truths to Mr Swift’s sermons that he is a seedliner and that isn’t biblical. I thought to myself, What is a seedliner? Someone who believes there are two races of people, those of Adam and those of a demon god serpent. Okay this freaked me out. I never heard of it before. So what do I do? Well of course I dove in head first.
What I found really disturbed me. People actually believe that Cain is the son of satan and that Eve had sex with THE devil and that his bloodline still exists today. What? Wasn’t there a flood that erased all evil INCLUDING CAIN’S DESCENDANTS? So here is what I learned for this theory to be true would also mean the following details……
- Since Yahweh according to scripture was ready to receive Cain if he only gave the correct sacrifice then Yahweh was willing to embrace the hybrid son of satan.
- Eve ate of “whatever” and then so did Adam. Gen 3:6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. Doesn’t that make Adam a homosexual? He did after all eat of what Eve did and if it was sex with satan then Adam had sex with satan too.
- The flood only was local and when the bible says…Gen 6:17 And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die. This has to be because for the theory to be true, Cain’s line survived. Therefore making the bible to be untrue. Maybe Cain held his breath.
Just these three alone should be enough to see that this is a very bad belief to think. To me it is degrading to even claim to know Yahweh if you believe in such trash theory. Revelations tell us that those the Messiah called vipers and sons of the devil were in fact the evil ones but they are MAN and were identified as children/descendants of Abraham.
Rev 13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
This isn’t speaking of one single person Anti-Christ the world is waiting on, it is speaking of all of them. We were told that the anti-Christ was already at work 2000+ years ago. Man without god that think they are gods are the anti-Christ. The enchanter in the garden was no different. He too was a man. And according to scripture Cain was Adam’s so who exactly was it that was having sex? Adam & Eve!!!
So I stand today in a firm belief that Cain is dead, his descendants are dead (flood) and that Yahweh is not a liar, Adam was not a homosexual, and Cain was of Adam. But I will show you where this lie comes from….the very one that is evil man
For when the serpent came upon Eve he injected lust into her.” (Shabbath 146a, The Jewish Talmud)
“When the serpent copulated with Eve, he infused her with lust.” (Yebamoth 103b, The Jewish Talmud)
“Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field, etc.” (Genes. III, 1.) ’More subtle’ that is towards evil; ’than all the beasts’ that is, the idolatrous people of the earth. For they are the children of the ancient serpent which seduced Eve….” (Zohar I, 28b, The Jewish Cabala)
Tit 1:14 Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.
